i am usually a deathmatch guy and never play objective games. in this one i am the opposite, all i play is objective games. probably because the deathmatch games arent large enough. i like 8v8 in large mixer (which has team anarchy as well). in those small anarchy matches there isnt enough level variety. when you play the objectives you get to play all the maps
Yeah tbh i didnt like the demo that much either.. but i knew the multiplayer was gonna be raw.. And to much surprise, i actually am enjoying the single player a lot too which i didnt think i would.. So far i've jus liberated the first region but shit was fun, i jus suggest you play it on ez cuz even normal was pretty hard for me and had me doin a few missions over.
But yeah, multiplayer in this game is easily a 10/10 and a good enough reason to buy imo.

Yea I got this and played a few hours of the single player. shit is pretty fun, it reminds me of saints row on mars with an emphasis on blowing shit up. glad i bought it so far and i havent even touched the multiplayer which by most reviews is off the hook. i'm gonna get online here this weekend tho. i'll hit you up KODOGG and maybe we can blast some fuckers online. my gamertag is PBARBS
Actually, the maps are varied for the most part.. With the exception of Sand Pit, Dead Space (or w/e), and Crash Site.. They all sorta remind me of one another, but they are all still really fun (besides crash site, i always veto that map lol.) Since the game plays on mars the maps are all sorta red hillish, but theres hella different buildings scattered around on the map, and since shits destructable the maps always changeing.. Let's say you take down a huge tower, it topples over on another building, well, now you've jus created more cover/snipe spots.. You can jus hop on a jet pack, get ontop of the buildin and use the rubble from the other building as cover..
Theres also a map in the snow which is pretty dope..
My favorite of 'em all is Quarantine, which is an Anarchy only map.. Its some what small, but it consist of 4 buildings and a huge tower in the middle.. Usually the buildings all end up smashed to the ground by the end of the map since everyone is usein thrust backpacks and smashin thru roofs and shit lol..

Imo it gives you even more playability then GOW.. You're constantly respawning and theres no host or connection problems.. Even when i'm getting my ass kicked i'm having a blast on Red Faction, which is not the case with Gears..
My brother was a hardcore Gears Of War 2 player (like i was) and never he never plays it after coppin Red Faction.. Damn, Damage Control is so fun

Yeah i dont know how they manage to always pick the same maps sometimes, but i have played 'em all.. You simply veto them if you dont wanna play 'em.. I also found if you play "Large Mixer" (which picks from all the different types of modes randomly) that you will usually get a good mix of maps to play from each time.
Man, since XBL is down i'am playin the single player and it's actually REALLY fun i love destroyin EDF building's, and it seems like theres actually gonna be a plot involved in this story and it's not jus gonna be about runnin from point a to b blowin shit up.

Yeah when i first started playin Thrust and the JetPack were the only ones i'd use because it's hella fun to be up in the air cappin foo's.. But there are so many different better backpacks.. I only use thrust now if i'm playing quarantine and i only equip the jetpack if i got the enforcer, because it's hella easy to cap foo's from mid air and kill 'em wit' that gun..
But the stealth backpack and the sledgehammer owns all.. Or stealth and rocket launcher.. Or the lightning gun + heal backpack is a good combo, so is the lightning gun with the jetpack.. You gotta switch it up to see what works best with you.. My friend swears my fleetfoot and sledge hammer, he gets hella kills too usein 'em, but i always get shot before i can hit someone wit fleetfoot on lol
