im not joking for this one. but do you guys know where i can buy one of those robes that muslims wear? some even come with hoods that look pretty sick. also what about turbans? the kind that look like this:


im not converting to islam or terrorism. i honestly just think those robes and turbs are badass.

again, im not joking about this. do you guys know if places like fammart have them?

thanks. i had a feeling it wasnt called a turban, i didnt know what else to call it. knowing those terms just made my search alot easier. ebays got some. but i still wonder if i could get it cheaper at some local place here

Ive got one, my friend is palestinian and when his mom went back she brought a bunch back. Mine is black and white though....

why is it ridiculous? its a garment of cloth...and it looks tight. should flip flops have remained in japanese culture? should baseball caps have remained in baseball cultures? should oversized white tees only be worn by black ppl?...well maybe ill give you that last one...but i think your ridiculous for seeing a problem with wearing a shemagh if youre not muslim or arabic...and for not recognizing how sick they are. peter tosh (jamaican/rastafarian) would wear one looking like a bad mothafucka.

besides i go to 7/11, liquor stores, and ride cabs all the time so i feel thats enough arabic culture support to allow me to wear a shemagh. but in all seriousness, ive attended muslim prayers at mosques, because i personally think those are sick too. i like the peaceful feeling and sound of the reciting inside the prayer hall...should i not go to those because im not muslim and only think theyre cool?

im ordering a red one from ebay...and yes my roomates jewish...hope theres no hard feelings

my cuzzo brought me back one of these.i think its tight,but whats the real political stance on these things.iv had some middle easterners from across the street yell at me with the hands in the sky like some black panther shit givin me props.does it have to do with some type of middle eastern militant stance/thing?why wouldnt jews like it?cause its palistenean?

^^^ive heard that some ppl who support the "free palestine" movement would wear it...or still wear it...so i guess jews who are against that wouldnt like seeing ppl wearing them. but i dont thinks its a big deal here in the states. especially the west coast. from searching for them on the web ive realized that apparently theyve become trendy and fashionable to wear as a scarfs...hopefully kanye or lil wayne dont make everyone start wearing them

Just reminded me of this time a few years back, I was at a gas station at like 4 in the morning after like a 8 hour drive, and this dude with one of them whatever the fuck-shamagans (lol) was ahead of me in line, and the redneck behind me says, ''hey, tell that sand nigger to let the Americans go first."
