I don't think u could label just one of them as THE "prince" of the bay cuz IMO they both bosses. ya boy doin big things wit the whole bws deal n fab on the grind like always talkin wit a gang of major labels n just getting his name out on all kinds of shit. to me, they both represent the diversity bay area rap has to offer. u got ya boy on one side..always spittin that real gutta shit wit pinchlines that'll knock yo teeth out. then you got fab on the other side..always dumb'n it out wit that hyphy, let loose n have fun type shit. both are really contributing to this whole bay movement..just in they're own ways. bottom line- they both got heat and are a force to be dealt with in years to come.

these is two of my favorite rappers rite now and even tho i got tired of all them mistah fab songs where he talkin bout goin dumb imma prolly say him jus cuz i like how he switches it up on the album n talks about deep stuff. ya boy is raw as fuck too tho but it seem like he only on that gangsta killin type of shit and he dont be talkin bout no deep shit
every artists deserves to better themselves. do you want ya boy to live in fillmoe his whole life? i hope when fabby gets his paper right he moves his family to a nice neighborhood where his kids can grow up without the trials and tribulations hes had to endure. all artists owe it to themselves to better their lives. i'm proud of ya boy for livin in malibu where most people can only dream of living. i hope all of the artists i rep get homes in nice areas and raise children there... call me crazy

I totally agree, I really do. My only point was that how can he be a "Prince of the Bay", when he lives in Malibu? You can't be the King of England yet reside in America, doesn't make sense, he ain't ruling from his throne. F.A.B is ruling from the throne. I mean, these little catch phrases like "Prince Of The Bay" or "Ambassador of the Bay" don't really mean shit, but if you're gonna endorse that title then be real about it and don't just abuse it.

nobody complained when the king of new york (BIGGIE) moved to jersey. or when the king of queens (50 cent) moved to jersey. the queens from queens (salt n pepa) all moved to better hoods. comptons most wanted all moved out of compton, south central cartel all moved out of south central. the list goes on and on.
as far as ya boy, he's been called the price of the bay for a few years now, its just a title. rappers have given themselves titles since the beginning of the artform. KRS ONE is the teacher, REDMAN is the doctor, RICK ROCK, NORTHERN CALI KING OF SLAPPERS, LIL KIM IS QUEEN BITCH, FOXY BROWN IS ILL NANA, JAY-Z IS HOV, this list goes on and on. the only person i've even heard called "prince of the bay" is ya boy. i've heard mistah fab being called "freestyle king". i've dropped about 60 mixtapes, i'm sure thats way more than my man BALANCE has dropped, but he's the one known as bay area mixtape king, and thats a title he earned and deserves. the bottom line is if a rapper decideds to call himself a title he better be able to hold onto that name or someone might wanna take it from him, just like when JIN went gunnin for fabbys title. in my opinion, ya boy, mistah fab and balance all deserve their titles and have earned my respect by gettin their hustle on and reppin the bay to the fullest. i got mad respect for all 3 of them.
