So who do you think honsetly cares about someone being popular in the bay and being pn a new song out here every month while the other person is working with the biggest producers in ALL OF MUSIC?????? Dr. Dre, Lil John, JR Rotem, Scott Storch= GRAMMYS, AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS....producers FAB has worked with out here= LUCKY TO GET A BARS AWARD NOMINATION!! okay FAB has been on Mic Pass, my block and a couple of magazines......as far as Ya Boy....front page of the NEW YORK TIMES, access hollywood at least once a week, radio shows(not only hip hop) across the nation(just not the bay), more popular with fans on the internet, and honestly....music that is felt more than the hyphy stuff that FAB is puttin out more. If FAB was to stick to the Son of A Pimp formula, this would be no contest. As hard as it might be for people out here to believe, the rest of the country is not as into this hyphy shit as people out here are.....YET!

So when you say a bigger buzz in the bay......WHAT DOES THAT MATTER WHEN THE OTHER PERSON IS MORE RECOGINZED ON A NATIONAL LEVEL??????

what is your definition of networking?ya boy has been on national television...on entertainment tonight...dude on conan o'brian was even talkin bout ya boy.....ya boy's been in xxl(national)..he's got his own website/forum....hes got a pretty big national and global following...he's got dudes in germany/austrialia/and a few others that follow him....so i think your wrong..hes been in us weekly...theyre both good but personally i think ya boy is better.....

^^^My definition of networking is doin shit yourself, working hard, reaching out to new artists and old school artists to try and bring this Bay shit back. Ain't nothing wrong with Ya Boy goin national, just reach out to the BAy, do you have any control over your damn career, or do you just refuse to feature Bay niggas on your new songs, freestyles, whatever? I don't think F.A.B would sign with Game if given the chance, he's smarter than that and I don't see Ya Boy's career lasting too long. The only exposure he gets in New York is bad exposure, they clown this nigga, you just don't know. I've seen a few articles where they clown that nigga about the K-Fed shit, he's not respected nationally as much as ya'll think.

It matters because we are trying to decide who's the "real prince of the Bay", not the prince of media. Goin national doesn't mean shit when your own region doesn't support you, with out the streets you lose, period. Trust me, I'm always up on what's hot in the streets and right now F.A.B is hot out here and Ya Boy isn't, plain and simple. I judge an artist by his work, and F.A.B's album was just so much better than Ya Boys. Anyone who says Rookie Of The Year was better than Son Of A Pimp is just dyck riding or simply doesn't like real music, and that's on Mamas.

So you're basically saying that he isn't networking cause he isn't putting your favorite Bay Area rapper on his album.....NEWSFLASH his album isn't finished... He has worked with HEAVY HITTERS and has a bigger national buzz....that's the goal of N.E.T.W.O.R.K.I.N.G.!!!

I'm sure if someone told you that they'd give you an opportunity to better your financial situation and career by moving you to the 2nd largest media market in the country and putting you around some of the most important people in your profession, you would say no!!!.....Like I said before, Son of A Pimp WAS a better album than ROY but at this moment, Ya Boy is doing more for himself as a artist........do you have any idea what the most important part of this business is???
