"You know what, during the taping of the show... We got into it every time we faced each other, you know? It got challenging for both of us to keep our hands off of each other. He don't like me and I don't like him, so it got really hard for me not to tee off on him and I'm sure he felt the same way. I think Rampage wants to be the only one. I don't know if he wants to be the only brotha. I don't know what it is. I don't know, he's just very competitive with me. I think besides all of that and the fact that he feels threatened by me, a lot happened when we got into each others face at the UFC when he fought Jardine. After that, we got into it on our own time. We got into it on our own personal time. I think that one of his biggest problems is that he's fallen in love with his power. He counts on his power. He's like Tyson after he got rid of Kevin Rooney. He just relied on his power because he knew he had it. Well that's what Rampage is doing. He's not as well-rounded as he was when he fought for Pride."

-Rashad Evans talks to FightHype why he thinks he and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson can't seem to get along. Much has been made about their rivalry on The Ultimate Fighter, many of the contestants stating that their rivalry is very real and that the two couldn't come within feet of each other with out getting physical with one another.

The conflict started with a staredown at center octagon after Jackson defeated Evan's teammate and good friend Keith Jardine at UFC 96. The two exchanged a bevy of insulting comments and had to be separated, an incident which pretty much sums up every encounter they've had since.

I think I remember them saying Rashad majored in pyschology or something. He might be playin a serious mind game with Rampage.

Outcomes that seem realistic to me:

Rampage by KO (punches)

Rashad by TKO (started by a knee or an uppercut)
-or-
Rashad by Sub (armbar)

Does shad even have jits? He's never subbed anybody? And how many times has rampage been subbed. To me. I think it'll be a ko by rampage. A decision by rampage or a decision by Shad.

Rampage is going to KTFO Rashad. All of the sudden ever since Rashad knocked out Chuck people think he has some bad ass hands but if you watch that fight Chuck was getting shots in and the only real shot Rashad landed was that one big bomb that KOd Chuck. Who has else Rashad ko'd standing up? Nobody. Forrest was working him standing up until he took the fight to the ground. Honestly it'll probably be a decision because Rashad will keep running away the entire fight.

He KO'd Sean Salmon, lol ... Also, the man trains MMA with world class dudes (isn't Elliot Marshall with Greg Jackson?), of course he's got to have some BJJ. It can't be called Greg Jackson Submission Fighting for nothing

Chuck Fight...

Rashad was landing more than Chuck in the 2nd round up until he landed the KO punch, though. When you look at the fight again, Chuck landed 2 rights in the first round and some glancing blows in the second round - that's it. Cats try to make it seem like Chuck was dominating when all he was doing was coming forward the whole fight. Rashad kept him off balance by faking shots and moving around and all that 'game plan' nonsense. He had Chuck's 1, 2 timed so after that second one, Chuck never landed that right cleanly again.

As far as the Forrest fight, it was a punch that dropped Forrest, not a take down. Yeah he caught the kick, but he punched him in his mouth and it dropped him.

I agree that if Rashad is a moron and exchanges with Page, he'll get slept. My thing is that I don't think he's that stupid.

Then again, he did think he could stand with Machida, lol

If the Rampage who fought Jardine shows up, he will lose, if the Rampage who beat Dan Henderson shows up, lights out for Shad.
