i went 2 all the record stores in Sac 2 find rare albums that are in the used section and i couldn't ever find that cd, and there used 2 be a record store in K Street mall and they had rare shit but that store got closed a few years ago
I reckon you never found it cause it was never on CD at that point in time, so no retailers or people off the street had it to put em in there... Granted, it's rare, and sought after, and the high price is cause not many were made..

H-Wood has just recently surfaced up two albums which have a release date of 1995 on the back..

The solo 'Sacramento Is The Name Of My City' def. was recorded around then.. But the 'Sacramento Zoo' compilation' def. has tracks recorded around 2001/02 or so too.

But why the discmakers/midwest style explicit lyrics sign? No one has used that since 2000! Reason: A release tagged 'Collector's edition: Unreleased material' doesn't get as much interest, H-Wood somehow found out that rare g-rap collectors love them ol midwest explicit lyric signs and identify them as extremely rare indie releases.

Would love to hear all 3 cds though.

^^^

They should just press em up as retail cds and sell em.. Insteada makin these bullshit claims that they've been out for 14 years on that format.. I think it's disrespectful to fans of the scene, who'd like to hear, but ain't gonna pay $150+ for something that cost 70 cents to make - when we BLATANTLY know he runs off cds at the pressmakers all the time.. It ain't exactly any trouble for him.

^^^ even stuff marked as "limited edition" can fetch that much anyway, take the Tripple Dubb "pain b4 pleasure" that Dubb & Mikal organized.. I guess that was special though cause it had bonus cuts. Our mystery man really doesn't have much to lose in doing so.

If i ever do get my hands on Street Stories cd (with DAT master quality), H-Wood comp, H-Wood '95 cd, G-Side, Young Bread, Ice Water & whatever else falls into that category, i'll share all of it with yall so long as it ain't retail reissued..

How about it, there must be at least 30 people who would like to hear it..

To be fair, having the physical disc is bullshit, cause it ain't what u think it is..

$5 a head, we all get a rip of it, and the addressee can sell it on & we get our money back LMAO.

^ exactly. It's lower case logic.. LMAO the thought of rappers acting like fine art painters. "I'm gonna make an album, press it on JUST ONE cd and auction it for $800" lol. The National Museum of Hip Hop is opening up soon right? Shit, there's your chance to hang it up!
