Have u ever gone to another town/city that a rapper was from and was suprised from the lack of support that rapper gets no matter how much you may like their music or how many fans they may have.....I'm not talking about the typical haters........... I'm talking about random people you speak to and they almost never have anything good to say about that rapper or his/her music.
Or u went to a town or grew up in a city where its almost a sin to speak bad about a particular rap artist and that artist or group gets overwhelming support.
One rapper that comes to mind is Mac Dre(rip).....Dre gets major love all over Northern Cali and his name is just as big as Pac and Biggie up there......You go to Vallejo its like Mac Dre mania out their.....lol.....A mafucka won't believe it unless u go their.
I meet people from KC and they love the fuck out of Tech N9ne.....He's like a GOD to them.
I lived in Sac for many years but noticed as big as an underground legend Brotha Lynch may be......I actually ran into alot of people who didn't like his music X-Raided too......I was actually suprised that them niggaz don't get more support but in X's case that murder will always haunt him......Everybody I know that don't like Lynch has the same excuse.....The Return Of The Baby Killa song......I guess that shit just dont sit well with some people
In LA Ice Cube is like a GOD out here.......That dude gets major love out here like no other rapper....Period.
DJ Quik gets love from Crips and Bloods in Compton......They love the fuck out of Quik over there......I never hewr niggas when I'm in Compton talking bad about Quik......Even old people love Quik over in Compton.
