Damn, I hoped I would never be one more person talking down on rapbay because they have come hella clean on every deal in the past. I see every now and then that other people have complaints about rapbay. I have to sign up for that list, I guess.
I ordered some CDs just before Christmas, among them OG West coast bad boyz anotha level. Both copies that I got were terribly scratched on both sides and some songs skipped. Damn, they looked like the Fat Boys had been standing on them while recording the video for "The Twist". And on top of that the CDs were resealed, so they looked mint through the seal. OK, I understand that this CD is hella rare, but anyway, if you sell a CD in your store for $19.99 that shit's got to be better than defective no matter how rare it is. AS for now, I have given them $38.98 for two wrinkled CD covers and two discs that are better used for frisbee than listening. I have sent three mails to rapbay and explained the situation, but they haven't bothered to reply any. I guess they either think that the CDs were mint and I am only trying to get free CDs or that they don't care at all since they have enough customers already. I proposed a refund for those CDs, new copies or replacement discs if they were out of stock. I understand that there might be some disagreements on what to do but why is it so hard to reply to an email? At least we could have worked things out in one way or another.
Anybody here who knows what have happened to rapbay's customer service? At least they could have told on the item description that they were used and resealed. They have always been top notch in the past.
