typical raider fan response....this has nothing to do with what the Broncos did!

I already admitted in the other draft thread I didn't like the picks oh well...still has bno bearing on what the raiders did......as an nfl fan you know what I am saying isn't far off base.
I didnt read that other thread mija, so easy with the aggression. hahaha

and if you know me, then you know that even if the thread was about abuelita's top secret tortilla recipe, I'd still be all up in it hollerin' "FUCK THE DONKEYS!!"

the season started saturday......all gloves are off.

ding ding

Far superior? In what regard please? If J was in last years draft he would have been picked around 20!

This was a very weak QB class.

BULLSHIT!

HERE'S WHAT THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA THINKS ABOUT YOUR DRAFT BRO:

BRONCOS -- D-
They traded up and even gave away a No. 3 next year to get DT Marcus Thomas, and this is a guy who ... let's see, I've used "has character issues" already. How about, "carries heavy baggage?" Kicked off his Florida team not once, but twice -- a problem child to be sure. Mike Shanahan says that he has checked him out thoroughly and he feels that in the right environment he'll be just fine. Seems that I heard exactly the same thing when he drafted Maurice Clarett in the third round. Yeah, Thomas can play all right, and so can speed rusher Jarvis Moss, the No. 1 draft. He was only suspended once. Hardly even worth mentioning.

Actually, it was a very SOLID QB class. Is was top heavy with Ja Rus and Quinn, but the ones that followed were no slouches.

and where would Russ and quinn have been last year...both late first or early second.

Hell I would notr be surprised 1 bit to see one of the other qb's this draft have waaaay better careers than both russ and quinn.

I didn't mean it in a way that they all completely sucked, I meant it in a way that last years top flight qb's are on a whole different level than this years top qb's!

It's no comparsion really.

thascary 1... The Raiders had the best draft out of the AFC West period. I know you don't think a bunch of rookie offensive linemen will help that much. They got rid of Moss (who wanted out anyway) and replaced him with Josh McCown and Mike Williams (if Mike can get his act together that would help the team a lot). So we got veteran qb's and a rookie.... And how do you know Kiffin's system isn't suited for Russell?

And don't tell me Michael Bush wasn't a steal. If he's healthy look out. Y'all just lost Al Wilson too. I think it was a good weekend for the Raiders. I just wish we had a receiver with speed to get deep to stretch the field. Don't forget about our free-agent pickups as well... Newberry and Justin Griffith along with new coaching. Look out AFC West. I am not going to even worry about the Chiefs.
LOL

not worry about tha Chiefs?

You bums have lost 8 straight to us...bout to be 10 after this season.....

hahahaha ya'll definately need to worry!

The Chiefs don't scare anybody in the AFC West. Your great offensive linemen are retiring and Trent Green is on his way out. LJ wants a new contract... The Chiefs don't concern anyone in the AFC West. Keep it real mayne!

Someone would have to be a fan of a team longer then year to know that.......

the chiefs and the raiders are in the same boat......... AND THE RAIDERS HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT EVERY SINGLE TEAM NEXT YEAR..........

UMM.. MY ORIGINAL POST WAS THAT THE BRONCOS DRAFT WAS ASS. IT WAS AND THAT JOURNALIST CONCURED. IN FACT, YALL WERE DEAD LAST ON HIS GRADE LIST. DON'T GET ALL MAD..

CUTLER WAS WEAK LAST YEAR. YOU SAID IT YOURSELF.

HOW ABOUT THIS? WANNA BET J RUSSEL HAS A FAR MORE SUCCESSFUL ROOKIE YEAR THAN CUTTLER?

first off what is more succesful in your book? He is going to play more games, get more reps with the starters and have all playbook as a starter from day 1.

So of course he will have more starts, more td's more int;s and more yards...so that really would be a stupid bet on my part....and I think it's funny how you pick 1 columists image of the draft, but do you respect mel kiper.....noted by many to be the best if not top 5 in draft knowledge??

here's his AFC WEST post draft grades

Denver: B
Oakland: C+
Kansas City: C
San Diego: C

Denver won't be that good next year. The Chiefs are going to be worse though... every team in the AFC West is going to beat up on the Chiefs.
