Raiders drafted Michael Bush-RB-Louisville with 1st pick in 4th round. That fool is hard as fuck. People slept on him because he got hurt.
hell ya, i watched this dude play a lot in college... i was hella bummed out when he got hurt the 1st game this year. Hes a stud man, they were sayin he was a 1st rd pick if it wasnt for the broken leg he suffered.

one of there most glaring needs was O-LINE.....they really didnt address that as much as i thought they would
Kiffin addressed the media about this. He said that he feels they got a good group of players in place with a few additions they made... Newberry will prob. start in center and Gallery will play RT with Sims back at LT.. and then we got others to fill in.. but yeah he said he has the players for the job

man we finally gettin this offense along.. we got our QB in Russel, our RB in Bush and we got the WRs to get the job done... now hopefully Kiffin really does have this oline blocking well and we'll do some thangs out there.. And its nice to get rid of the cancer ( Randy Moss ) lets get this team goin'

ok ok ok

Decent draft by Raiders but don't take this as hate, it's just an opinion of an nfl fan!

They lost thier best wr, they still didn't address Oline..I dont care what the coach says they do not have the players.........Russell, call me in 3 years......Bush is by far thier best pick and could be a beast....COULD....if they address the o0line and he stays healthy....thats to HUGE if's right now.

So you now have 3 wr's 1 od which didn't play ;ast year and is your #1, 2 of which really aren't a #2 and #3 type wr and then you have a bust of a wr top round out the top 3 spots...add to that a rookie qb playing in a system not suited for him.

Nice day to be an afc west fan let me tell you.

Again this isn't a hate thread please believe me when I say that.......this is based solely off of what they picked up....you guys made Pats stronger, didn't address what needed to be done the most (sorry second most...you did need a qb first so thats my mistake) and you got a great rb but still don't have the #2 need filled to help him out.

So here is what is going to happen, you will be facing tons of blitzes and to stop those blitzes on your rookie qb you have a running back #1 who has NEVER proved to be a star back and plays better when having a good 2nd back with him...then you have a rookie injury pron running back as #2 that has to stop the blitzes....wow

Now saying this you do look waaaaaaaaay better on offense this year than last year, but you didn't get what you needed out of Moss and just made another AFC team stronger.

Add to that the other 3 afc west teams drafting what they needed...now right players is another story....see my draft grade on Broncos, by no means am I completely happy with what they drafted..sure they filled need (outside of safety) but they got character issue guys who now need to prove themselves...but we did fill needs!

Chiefs got thier wr who may step up and be the go to guy they have long searched for, and the chargers also got a wr which they need and granted they over paid but got thier safety as well.

So all in all while Raiders drafted big name good players, it wasn't 100% for need which is what they should have done, so while they got stronger I cannot deny that, so did the other teams in thier division and they themselves made the afc stronger by trading moss...why the fuck didn'tthey move him back to NFC????

Man they had to do what they had to do to get rid of Moss. I tried to tell you over and over... the Raiders weren't going to throw their whole draft just on offensive linemen. Coaching can help us in that area as well as better play calling.

thascary 1... The Raiders had the best draft out of the AFC West period. I know you don't think a bunch of rookie offensive linemen will help that much. They got rid of Moss (who wanted out anyway) and replaced him with Josh McCown and Mike Williams (if Mike can get his act together that would help the team a lot). So we got veteran qb's and a rookie.... And how do you know Kiffin's system isn't suited for Russell?

And don't tell me Michael Bush wasn't a steal. If he's healthy look out. Y'all just lost Al Wilson too. I think it was a good weekend for the Raiders. I just wish we had a receiver with speed to get deep to stretch the field. Don't forget about our free-agent pickups as well... Newberry and Justin Griffith along with new coaching. Look out AFC West. I am not going to even worry about the Chiefs.

read my fuckin post I said Bush was a good pick.

If you think J is a west coast offense type of player well then you didn't watch much of him.

scary is just pissed because shannahan gambled the picks pickin' up a bunch of question marks and potential pac-men.

typical raider fan response....this has nothing to do with what the Broncos did!

I already admitted in the other draft thread I didn't like the picks oh well...still has bno bearing on what the raiders did......as an nfl fan you know what I am saying isn't far off base.
