Antonio Gates on who he thinks should've represented the AFC West in the Playoffs:

I said best shape AS OF RIGHT NOW! fuck what happened in sept, oct etc... If you had to chose 1 of the 4 teams in the afc west to win you a game tomorrow you would most likely choose Oakland. Now that big Al was stupid we'll see what happens because it sounds like players are pissed and alot of FA's might jump ship, which then swings balance to KC because of youth as well as coaching.

The raiders sucking has nothing to do with not making the playoffs....they had some tough breaks during the season, like the arizona game where sebass missed three fields goals. The Raiders are the most dangerous team in the division right now. I could give a fuck about you division title, you guys arent there yet. Are you on the rise? of course, but special season require special things to happen. You guys had plenty of breaks and i remember seeing the chiefs pull off a couple of games in which they maybe shouldve lost. Brining in Hue Jackson would mean the same offense would be run, which is huge. I believe this might be the first time Jason Campbell has had the same coach for two straight years in his career.
