Raider "Nation" was created in 1982, when the team moved and Oakland/LA created the "nation" of fans.

Red Sox "Nation" was a term coined by some sports writer in 1986.

^ made no sense cuz cuz.. you makin it seem like teams are competing for the "NATION" name or somethin.. its original and the Raiders gona stick wit it'.. just like the quotes "JUST WIN BABY" "COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE" all tho they haven't lived up to em lately.

i was just bustin ur balls and puttin nation as a nation like us and having it fail. but dont get ur panties in a bunch cause i dont like redsox or raiders but they both have crazy ass fans. i live in boston so i see the fans hear are very intense and have the right to be called a nation. and i've seen raider fans and they have the right too. there can be more than one nation dumbasses or did u forget that. well this thread will go nowhere so this will be my last post in it. hate on me all u want raider fans but when it comes down to it your troop (raiders) havent been gettin it done for ur "nation" and the red sox has and have been for a while now

^ its about time tha red sox have tho... remember tha so called "curse" that was on em when they had those bad seasons.. every team goes thru ups and downs.. the topic was who had the name first? and the answer is RAIDERS.. so why is this still goin on?

Thats like saying if and when the niners move to Santa Clara they cant hold the name 49er's because 49er's because that was the name of the SF Gold Miners and not SC. Still the same team. Just like if the niners move to SC, You think there going to rename themselves the SC Niners? Still gunna be SF Niners.

The San Francisco will NEVER be dropped from the Niners. Moving 30 mintues is not like moving 400 miles. No one said they cant be called the raider nation. Its just that they were never called the raider nation in Oakland until 1996.The Los Angeles raider started the raider nation and cant argue that.
The niners will never betray their fans and move. Can you say that about the raiders?

Do you call the Dallas Cowbitchs, the Irving Cowbitches? Nope.

lmao are you retarded? Those aren't even remotely close. The 49ers will remain the SF niners while the raiders changed their location from oakland to los angeles.
