Yes, I'm sure.

Explain to me why Sapp is so special. He had a good career, yes. But is he on the level of Reggie White, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Walter Peyton.. No he's not. Those guys were special.. Warren Sapp will NEVER be mentioned amongst that group of guys.

You're trying to make him seem like the shit, but you're only doing it because he is a raider. Aside from last season he did absolutely nothing in Oakland. His whole career was made in Tampa Bay, as a raider he is far from special. All he is is a trash-talking over-the-hill annoying D-lineman. Straight up.

Next time save your lame ass credibility comments. If you don't have shit to say, don't post.

HIS NUMBERS ALONE SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

IF HE'S NOT SPECIAL THAN WHY IS HE A LOCK FOR GOING TO THE HALL OF FAME? CAN YOU ANSWER ME THAT PLEASE? NOPE. DIDN'T THINK SO.

PERHAPS HE'S NOT ON THE LEVEL OF REGGIE WHITE OR JOE MONTANA. BUT DOES THAT MEAN HE'S NOT A SPECIAL PLAYER? FUCK NO. WHAT KIND OF DOPE ARE YOU ON?

THIS HAS NOTHING REALLY TO DO WITH HIM BEING A RAIDER. JUST TO CLARIFY- I BASHED THE NINERS D TO PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE FOR YOU. SHOULD'VE GRABBED ADALIUS THOMAS WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE. NO ONE ON THAT SQUAD IS DOING DOUBLE DIGIT SACKS THIS SEASON. BUT YOU'RE RIGHT THIS THREAD AINT ABOUT THE NINERS.. SO MOVING ON..

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE SAPP ACCOMPLISHED THE BULK OF HIS ACHIEVEMENTS. LAST YEAR ALONE PROVED THAT. HE IS FAR FROM THE "FAT OLD D-LINEMAN," THAT YOU YAP ABOUT. DUDE'S STILL A BEAST. 10 SACKS. MOST OF ANY D TACKLE IN THE NFL LAST SEASON. DEAL WITH IT. YOU WANNA DISREDIT HIM BECAUSE HE'S GOT AN ATTITUDE OR BECAUSE HE SPENT MOST OF HIS CAREER IN TAMPA BAY? GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!

YOU LOSE.

I'll give you that, Warren Sapp will never be on the level of Rice, White, Montana, & Payton.....but throwing Young in there? I don't know about all that....that's where your team pride is clouding your judgement....they are both hall of famers (well, one future), both earned one superbowl ring (young was only a backup for his other rings0....and thats about it...

Yes they do.. That being said, he's only had double-digit sacks in 4 out of his 12 fuckin years in the league. Who the fuck have you been watching? He eats up the hole, but his numbers don't prove too much. All his stats show is that he is an inconsistant player.

Solitary 1 said:

First of all who the fuck said he is a "lock" for the Hall Of Fame? His numbers don't suggest anything of the sort. So where the fuck are you hearing this shit? Probably some raider news outlet because I'll tell you what, nobody outside of this area even mentions his ass anymore.

We obviously have different standards when it comes to players being special. Yours are clearly very low. You're the type who probably thinks Rich Gannon should be in the Hall Of Fame because he was the league MVP once.

To put it in perspective for me huh? Please. There's nothing you can tell me that I don't know about my team. I know their capabilities and I've been watching them at their practices (unlike the raiders, we actually get to go to those) so I'd know more than you could at this point.

Get the fuck outta here. He's far from the "beast" that YOU yap about. You're gonna base all this shit on one season? What about the other two in Oakland? HE DIDN'T DO SHIT. He can easily fall back into that slump. You act like he's in the prime of his career and you're hugging his nuts like he's gonna save your team.

LOL.. he called Warren Sapp an inconsistant player. I guess you forgot about the year when the Raiders moved him to defensive end when they switched to the 3-4 defense right? You see Bryant Young's sacks fell when the 49ers switched him to defensive end as well right? When you get moved to end your responsibilities change. Your gaps change. Your priorities change....

He's about 8 sacks from cracking 100. Only John Randle from the Vikings cracked 100 sacks from the defensive tackle position. Boy are you caught up in Niner land.

From the defensive tackle position. Reggie and Bruce were defensive ends... Kevin Greene was an outside linebacker...

It's harder to do from the tackle position because DT's face double teams.

GOOD CALL TONY. YOU'RE TOTALLY RIGHT. I FORGOT ABOUT THAT. THOSE 2 YEARS THAT SAPP DIDN'T DO MUCH IN OAKLAND WAS BECAUSE HE WAS MOVED OUTSIDE OF HIS NATURAL POSTION IN A 4-3 DEFENSE. HE WAS IN A 3-4 AND IT DIDN'T SUIT HIM OR HIS ABILITIES. HE WAS QUOTED IN INTERVIEWS SAYING HOW HARD IT WAS FOR HIM TO PLAY IN THAT SCHEME.

SO BASICALLY 2 OUT OF THE 10 OR 11 ODD YEARS HE'S BEEN IN THE LEAGUE WERE SLOW YEARS BECAUSE HE WAS OUTSIDE OF HIS NATURAL POSTION. OTHER THAN THAT, HE HAS BEEN A BEAST EVERY SEASON DESPITE WHAT THIS CAT FATAL IS TALKING ABOUT, AND A VIRTUAL LOCK FOR THE HOF.

Aren't you one of those guys that only peeps stats to see if a player is any good or not? If so, I suggest you look at the stats. His shit is all over the place. He had 2 solid years in a row in 99 and 2000, other than that he was inonsistant.

Tony said:

Oh no, I didn't.

Tony said:

You act like you know, please stop.

BY's stats went up after the switch to DE. He's had 16.5 sacks the past 3 seasons. He only had 9 sacks the 3 seasons before that.

But BY has nothing to do with this.

Tony said:

Save it dog. There's nothing you can teach me.

I'm still waiting..

Tony said:

No, you're just stuck in the raider nation. That's the problem.

Tony said:

Why do you always bring up a 49er everytime a fuckin raider is in question?

What the hell does Bryant Young have to do with Warren Sapp? This is not a comparrison, I never said BY was better. I also never said BY is a lock for the fuckin Hall Of Fame like your boy Solitary claims Sapp is. Get the fuck outta here.

Tony said:
And then ask Fatal who was drafted first...
Then ask yourself what the fuck it matters.

I'm not comparing them.

Why not compare them? You called Sapp inconsistant but how are his numbers compared to BY's? They've played the same position... defensive tackle for years. And both were switched to defensive ends at some point in their careers right? That's why I'm comaring them. And instead of answering the questions I asked you're ducking and dodging them dog.

That's straight BS!! His sack numbers dropped when they moved him to end. Every now and then the 49ers would switch it up and use a 4-3 defense... and that's when Young moved back inside to defensive tackle. Mike Nolan has switched up before and used that 4-3 alignment and moved BY back to his DT spot. That's where the majority of his sacks came/come from. I am not saying he didn't get any sacks from the DE position... but the majority of his sacks came from defensive tackle position... just like Sapp's.

Because this has nothing to do with anybody except Warren Sapp. Why compare somebody else to him? This all started because I called Warren Sapp OLD and FAT. He is OLD, and he lost weight be he is still FAT.

Tony said:

What does that have to do with Sapp being inconsistant?? Honestly.

BY is also inconsistant. That's how it is. I don't see what comparing them is doing for your arguement.

Tony said:

You're comparing them because you realized Sapp numbers were a little better than Bryant Young's. That's why. But it still doesn't matter because this is not a discussion about who is better between the two, so there is no need to compare them.

Tony said:

What the fuck are you talking about now? YOU DIDN'T ASK ANY QUESTIONS. At least not questions that didn't look rhetorical, like "they both played defensive tackle, right?"

Tony said:

So you mean to tell me that the 8 sacks BY got the season before last all came from the few times he got to play DT?

You said his sacks dropped when he was switched to DE, but if you just go and check his NFL.com player page you'll see the complete opposite. Now you're claiming they came from the DT position.. THEY SWITCHED HIM WHEN NOLAN GOT HERE. His sacks did not drop, they elevated.

They switched to a 4-3 the majority of last year, BY was still playing DE.

BY inconsistant? Yeah right... you're just saying that so you don't lool like a damn fool. BY is not inconsistant and never was inconsistant.
