Speaking the truth is not talking down....get it straight!
I am giving my opinion on the issue....If the fan of another team came in here saying something like this I would be saying the same thing! This has nothing to do with hate for the Raiders...it's hate for Professional owners who take advanatge of thier very own fans who they say they are in this for.
I wasn't gonna say shit, but since a couple of you couldn't handle having a raider thread without somehow bringing my name into it, here you go..
Like thascary1 said, this type of shit is free for most teams. The raiders organization just made money "giving back" to their fans.. Isn't it ironic? Kinda like that whole "commitment to excellence" line they toss around while having the worst record in the league. Irony.
The things that were described.. The activities.. Playing catch with a mediocre-at-best backup RB.. Watching some fat, old D-lineman dance and get 'hyphy'.. Touring the locker room.. Roaming free in the coliseum.. All that stuff sounds cool (no sarcasm), but it should have been free. I understand it's only $5 which is nothing, but when a team shows "appreciation" to it's fans by holding an event like this, they shouldn't CHARGE. That only shows what kind of organization the raiders truly are.
NOW.. Tony, Defy, RAS.. Feel free to call me a hater. I didn't have to say any of the stuff I just said, so this is your first chance at calling me a hater and having it hold some weight (though not much).
BUT.. Prove me wrong. Make an arguement to defend your organization. Type something, anything besides "you're just hating." Tell me everything I said isn't the truth.. See if you can do that without lying to yourself.

You have no answer for #2.. You just wanted to fire back at my team because I insulted your retirement-bound D-lineman by calling him old and fat. But honestly, who fuckin cares? Sapp is nobody special. He's not Jerry Rice or Reggie White, those are people I wouldn't insult because they've earned the respect. Warren Sapp was a good ass lineman, but he runs his mouth too much and acts like a fuckin idiot. If he was still a Buccaneer and I said he was old and fat you wouldn't be saying shit because you know it's true, so get the fuck outta here dog. Sapp doesn't need you to hug his sac and come to his defense.
And by the way, either Manny Lawson or Tully Banta-Cain (maybe both) will get double-digit sacks this season, but I'm not gonna argue it cuz that's not what this thread is about. I only say this because I don't want you to think I actually believe you know what you're talking about with my team's defense.

Explain to me why Sapp is so special. He had a good career, yes. But is he on the level of Reggie White, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Walter Peyton.. No he's not. Those guys were special.. Warren Sapp will NEVER be mentioned amongst that group of guys.
