so what you're saying is an injury is different if its a "freak" injury? that freak shit doesn't matter. he got injured playing football during the season, twice. maybe other players would've gotten injured doing the same thing, but they would still be injured. my point is he has 2 injury plagued seasons, he needs to make up for it this year. he's a tight end, he HAS TO block and he's supposed to be hard to take down & get hit hard by at least one person if not more.
thats why he got hurt, cuz he didnt go down easily, I guess u didnt see the injuries, against the steelers where he got hit by polamalu and another dude midair, and he landed hella bad, that was the "fumble interception" bullshit, that the league admitted was a bad call, he landed directly on his shoulder and fucked shit up, the blocking 1, i dont think any1s leg can get pressure from front and back and not break

so is there an extra note on his stat sheet that says he did not play due to "freak" injury rather than "regular" injury? my point is an injury is an injury. Micheal Vick breaking his leg was a freak injury, but the falcons had to put up with it and move on thru the season cuz it was still just another injury. these may be STD's only injuries for the rest of his career, or he may not ever realize that sometimes he has to go just down and keep getting "freak" injuries year after year.

the rule of a "catch" is doing a "football move", the ref was right after the challenge......

edit: actually that's more for fumbles.....in order for it to be a fumble he has to do a football move, but he didn't maintain possession.

that's stupid tho.....he may have been wrong for what he said but the ruling should have been correct. he did not maintain possession of the football after contact...

ain't no floor in football

lol

he didn't make a football move, being mollywhopped by polamalu is NOT a football move.....and if you really wanna get technical about it polamalu caused std's other foot to touch the ground via tackle

that football move shit changed last year actually. it was 2 feet on the ground. just like if theres 2 feet on the ground and then the ball gets lose it's a fumble now. so that fpootball move thing was out last year defy.
