questions for those that workout

Doesn't sound like you're too sure of how much of anything you're taking in. Do you write this stuff down anywhere?

Well, like Wino said, you can't get big and ripped at the same time. You have to decide which one you want to do.

Either way, the first thing you have to do is to figure out your LBM. This will tell you what your fat % is. This is usually a pretty good guide...if your % is high, go for the weight loss...if it's low, go for the weight gain. If you got a beer belly though, I would say the fat loss is the way to go.

From your LBM, you can figure out how many calories you need to take in and how many grams of protein/carbs you should be taking.
