How do you scratch and what is mixing?

I just sold off all my turntables... and now looking into the USB DJ controller stuff.

any recommendations between software and hardware?

should I go TORQ? or Numark Omni?

Traktor or any other software... thanks.

to scratch i usually use a pin or a screw and to mix the record i put it in a blender with another one

I use 2 turntables,rane mixer and serato over at dznutts radio,but since you sold your tables u cant do that....The vestax/serato unit id dope,nice and small

yea i'ma run off laptop... I want something easy to travel around to gigs with

I'ma look at the vertax, I really just need somthing that can save hot cues, on the fly loops and effects...

I just DJ my own shit pretty much.... I make electro beats, remix bay rap tracks, mash-ups.

Should've just bought a serato box. Since that's out of the question now I would look into getting one of the controllers that work with serato itch. Numark and Vestax each make one.
