hows it goin everyone? my girlfriend and i will be flying to Hawaii in October, and we will be laying over in Frisco for about 3-4 hours or so....i was wondering if theres any attractions i could check out real quick that are near the airport....ive never been there before so i was hoping some of you locals could help me out......thanks a lot....

haha yeah, 3-4 hours is nothing. if u had a whole day then go down too the pier 39 or hit up downtown. but u will get lost, shit i even get lost trying too find the right airline @ sfo.

for the most part, yes it is.
the airport isnt near anything interesting and its a 30-40 minutes drive into the heart of the city with regular day traffic

had you flied into oakland it woulda been different due to BART.
but yeah unless your gonna run and pick up some weed id say just stick to the airport cuz thats about all youd have time for

I reccomend you find a nice quiet bar in the airport or something like that. Get ripped at a bar in the airport then sleep it off on the plane. I bet SFO has a few nice places to kick it. I enjoy the layover in la and kick it at the bar. In las vegas the jose cuervo tequilaria. Make the most out of the airport has to offer. some places have good food and most have overpriced drinks. Fuck it your on vacation.

There might be.... im not sure myself, because anytime i was waiting for my plane which ranged from 1-2 hours i just chilled at the bar and ate roundtable joint they got..... so my suggestion is stay close cuz bay area traffic could really piss u off quick if your not from the area. i would hate too see u stuck in the bay for a night, but if that happens i can give u a list of things too do lol.

the airport isn't even really in san francisco...3-4 hours is pushing it as far as making it to the city, seeing some shit and getting back on time...try and reschedule your flight so you have a couple more hours.

3-4 hours is definitely not enough.

Everytime I give relatives and out of towners a tour of SF, that shit starts early in the morning and ends at night. To fully enjoy the city, u will need a whole day.

Check out the FEISTA BUFFET (all you can eat filipino food) on el camino right off the 280 interchange...Its a few minutes driving from the airport...

lol....well i live in a city of 1 million + so traffic aint no problem i deal with that every god damn day of my life LOL....but anyways thanks for the info everyone..i checked out a map and the airport seems to be way outside of SF..

If you have enough time make sure you go check out 3rd Steet in San Francisco. I think your girlfriend will definitely enjoy 3rd and Newcomb. You will be greeted in a friendly manner by all of the locals.

the airport is really by san bruno. it's not even inside of the city. you'd have to drive there and you will get lost plus traffic is BITCH. and there is hella shit to do you'll lose track of time. fuck hawaii why not vacation here?
