I figured all of the collectors would be the best ones to answer this. I am moving into a new apartment that comes with a garage. I have a ton of CDs and baseball cards in boxes that I would like to store in the garage.

My question is, does heat damage in any way CDs and/or the booklets/back covers and does it damage baseball cards? I live in Southern California and it gets pretty hot sometimes, so I was wondering if keeping them in the garage with the garage door closed and the heat making it hot as fuck in there would damage them if kept in boxes. Thanks.

well thats a good question, i suppose it would depend on the night time. i personally wouldnt store the CDs in there, because in winter/fall months the moisture in the air may slightly wrinkle the booklets, as far as the baseball cards go, i cant see a problem with storing them in the garage....
