PS2 & Xbox?

I can get most any new game out here for $48.88... but my sons are only 10 and 12.. so they arent ones to HAVE to have the game the same day it comes out.. if you let a month or so go by they go on sale.. usually $40.. Christmas Eve I went to Fred Meyers (I'm not sure how large their chain of stores is..) with a $10 off any X-Box game... the kid working gave me his discount and I left with 4 games for $90... Fight for NY, some wrestling game.. shit, I dont know the names of them.. my boys give me a list.. lol..

I had a PS2...Sold it like a year and a half ago...

I coulda gotten EITHER recently but I bought another PS2...Had to get it for GTA....Plus the back catalogue of games blows Xbox away AND u can play PS1 games on it...

I'm DEFINETLY not talkin down on X-Box....it has its plus's as well....But it ain't like it's gods gift to gaming...

^Oh man we got another I got the ps2 for the GTA, you fools are crazy, that's like paying $200 for the game lol. I got my xbox for under $60. My bro gave me his broken xbox, I bought another broken xbox off ebay for about $60 and exchanged some parts with the xbox my bro gave me and it's been working great. But if I were to buy a gaming system, it would definitely be the PS2.

but the gta series is worthy of buying a ps2 alone. If i had to choose, i'd take sony for that reason which is exactly what you did. if gta never came out you wouldnt have thought about getting a ps2.

If you look at all three systems statistically, XBOX shits on the other two without ease, and the games on PS2, everyone who say that PS2 got all the good games, all them games come to XBOX anyway, and they come to XBOX looking better with less load times. I'm not knocking any systems, just telling the truth. PS2 tried to come out with KillZone to compete with Halo, and Halo just bent down and took a giant ass graphically superior foot long cheesing shit all over it. GTAIII and Vice City on XBOX looked better and had less load times as well as custom soundtracks, and the same thing will happen when San Andreas hits the Box. As far as online play, XBOX is for broadband users only, no dial up users to slow shit down, it may cost fifty, but the cost is yearly and very worth it...

Good lookin out folks. I've made up my mind on returning the ps2 and GTA - san andreas for cash back. I hope circuit city will let me return an open box ps2 which I foolishly opened on X-Mas. I haven't played GTA yet lol, but to cop the double pack for xbox. I used to be a game freak on NES (contra was the fucken shiiiet) and SNES, since them games w/discs came out I haven't played much video games. I'm startin to get into this shit again though. I got an Xbox w/halo 2, I fuckin hate FPS games shit gets me hella dizzy in shit, feelin like I gotta throw up, it's all bad. But I had to get halo 2, now I regret. Only games I like that I've played so far on xbox are prince of persia and ninja gaiden.

i have both and any new game that comes out on both i buy for ps2

i cant stand the xbox controller,i prefer the extra shoulder buttons up top like on the ps2 controller rather than the black and white buttons on a xbox one,that just seem a little too far out of the way for my taste...especially when playing games like madden where those are the stiff arm of juke moves(forgot which one) and you need to hit them fast...just dont like that configuration...i still play dreamcast and dont mind the controller layout,its just those 2 extra buttons that get on my nerves

i guess graphics dont mean as much as it seems it does to you guys...if a game is fun,its fun,regardless of how it looks....sure graphics are nice,but i can break out my NES and play tecmo bowl with my boys and have just as much fun as we would playing madden 2005 on xbox or ps2

dont get me wrong,i hella like my xbox,was worth the money...but just prefer ps2

I got Ps2, Gamecube, and XBOX, out of the three the XBOX gets the most play, I hardly even touch the Ps2 anymore...

Same here, only time i play ps2 is when i play socom 2 and gta sa (coming to xbox soon). other than that, every game i buy is for the xbox. The harddrive, load times, graphics, and i can't forget to mention true dobly digital 5.1 support make it the better choice.

I'm not messing with the cube until RE4 and the new Zelda come out...

oh and if ps2 is your fav controller and you own an xbox, this is for you(you can find these at gamestores or even at walmart for $10 or less)...
