"Promo Use Only"

so if you find ah CD and buy it then later notice on the back that it says "for Promotional use only" is it illigal for ppl to sell this CD? Should I go back N' ask for my $ back or ill tern them in (wich I wouldnt I just want ah free CD) to the artist. And if its ah promo CD It wouldnt hurt if I ripd it and posted the full album up in Sicc Tunes right?

when i goto peoples houses i rip the tags off their matresses......, but ive coped a few cd that say for promo use only, some where promo cd like for spinning at clubs with tha single, the accapella and tha instrumental, but ive gotten full albums as well that say for promo use only, and ones that say not for re-sell, so go figure, BTW what cd u got thats says this??

I thought that it was illegal to rip off matress tags only before purchasing it.
