There's like four old ones over there. I don't spend that much time doing music anymore but that will give you an idea of what I have done. I peeped your myspace page also. I see you have taken pictures with damn near everybody so it appears that you indeed have your hustle on hard. Keep doing your thing and enjoy the songs man.

not true..... it cost to fly record execs out here, put them in hotels, pay for their food and transportation. go online and see the prices for a first class flight from ny, four star hotel, and rental for a saturday and sunday in the bay area. if anything we will break even.

this is why people dont do shit like this in the bay, everyone has this attitude like someone is getting over. this is my 4th showcase this year. we have gotten 7 artists signed to majors through these showcases......so if you aint fuckin with it, oh well. but dont badmouth people trying to make it happen for others in the bay....... go be skrooge mcduck somewhere else..lol
which/what artists have gotten signed based off of the showcases and to which major labels?

@ townbiz

as far as the showcases.....

parle is a singing group that was signed to ruff ryders a few years ago and their contrat was sold to aftermath with eve recently....

earl haze is currently with interscope recording his album

knox is from atl, he signed a deal with warner about 4 months ago

biggems was an artist from chicago who signed with capitol about a year ago, but was dropped due to a prison term he is currently serving

oakland's own malika from making the band won the oakland showcase a couple years ago and met with the ceo's of ruff ryders. she was offered a deal and turned it down

there were two showcases before these on the east coast that i was not a part of, so i cant speak on it too much.... but i know both artists signed deals and did get songs placed on soundtracks.

this showcase doesnt guarantee success. some artist have done well after and some have failed. but if your business is straight and you have hot music, you will speak to the people who make decisions on signing groups.
