All radio is politics. You know Baby from cash money pays hella money to get his wack ass songs on the air. KMEL plays that "Cant take the ghetto outta me" shit like every hour. They dont even play that shit down south like that. But they wont play mistah fab? I dont even like FABs music but cmon. The radio is full of bitches and hoes. The stations are owned by the same god damn people.

Maybe it won't be deleted this time~

As I said before, I have been hearing FAB played during Chuy's show, in the Mix with Rick Lee and Mind Motion, and Chuy gave him a fatty shout out yesterday morning.

this message is for Doc Truth. Yo homie that Baby From Cash Money song that you are talking about is a hit. Baby didnt pay anything to get played. He isnt even working the record as his single, the single that he did work for that album was a record called "Neck of the Woods" feat. lil Wayne. And as far as Cash money paying for radio play, that isnt true. They have a radio staff that they pay to mail out CD's and vinyl to all the radio DJ's and then call the DJ's up and get there feedback on records. Most records that you hear on KMEL you might not like, but does that mean that the majority of the bay doesnt like it. Remember you are not the only one in the market, and people actually have different opinions than yours. and if there is any song that you want to request on any radio station than just call up and request it and you might just hear the record.

lol @ baby paying for radio play?

lol @ kmel dj's will be dealt with?

lol @ the subject being so serious it just had to get coverage in mercury news, where's that based again? they couldn't have got in touch with the chronicle? I mean ... geesh!

How about, Fab releases another song as hot as "new oakland" or "super sick with it" ... at the end of the day, fact of the matter is, the MAJORITY of KMEL Listener's arent too enthused about whatever the boy's latest single is called.

oh, and the "e-40 gets play on both stations" phrase ... that needs to stop. like, lol RIGHT RIGHT Now ... why throw e-40 under the bus just because your song isn't getting played on both stations? why bring OTHER people in with you? Is it me, or does that fall in the lines of Stitching? hmmm. That sounds reeaaaaal "well if i'm goin down, they're goin down too" to me.

This is one of the realest post I've seen about this situation. I see Mind Motion has a all Bay Area mix cd dropping. He has songs from Zion-I, The Team, The Frontline, Balance, Big Rich and more. All of the songs are tight that I have heard, but I don't hear any of those on 94.9 and that is just how he politics go. Once you jump boath feet in you have to take the good with the bad. KMEL fucks with KMEL 94.9 fucks with 94.9...It has ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY. Why is it going to change now?

Thats not even a top 10 song on Urban Radio in New Orleans. How is it a Hit? You can say all that shit but I still think mothafuckas are paying for radio play.
