Its straight. I liked it. The production is on point. If you have friends who got caught up with the law or who drug deals. This might be for you. I can relate to quite a few songs on that album. He got a couple club hitters on there. Hypnotized which is for the hoes and I am the Club for the strippers. Its straight man.
Plies' Manager Arrested In Cocaine Bust
Police say they have seized more than 80 pounds of cocaine from David Lee Gay Jr. and people he worked with to buy and sell the drug.
Gay is also Plies' manager and works for Isabomb Entertainment.
From Sept. 21 through Nov. 12, the Tampa resident entered into an agreement to distribute cocaine, a criminal arrest affidavit states.
At least six times during that period, Gay received and sold a half kilogram to a kilogram of cocaine, the affidavit states.
A kilogram is 2.2 pounds.
Gay had paid $6,000 for a kilogram of cocaine from a co-defendant, the affidavit states. He was supposed to pay the man $8,000 more to "consummate the deal," the affidavit says.
The co-defendant, 35-year-old Eleazar Gutierrez-Castillo of Bradenton, was arrested Tuesday evening on a cocaine trafficking charge and agreed to cooperate with police.
Gutierrez-Castillo met with Gay at Gay's home Tuesday night, but Gay grew nervous and thought he saw law enforcement officers in the neighborhood, according to the affidavit. Gay backed out of the drug deal and asked Gutierrez-Castillo what he had done to wrong him.
About 10 grams of marijuana were recovered from Gay's home, along with drug paraphernalia, trace amounts of cocaine and $7,902.
Gay, 35, faces several charges including possession of cocaine, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, armed trafficking, racketeering and several conspiracy charges.
He remains in Orient Road Jail with no bail set.
Gutierrez-Castillo initially was arrested at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday after he met with an undercover Tampa police officer to sell 5 ounces of cocaine, an arrest affidavit says. The self-employed handyman showed the officer a plastic bag containing the cocaine while in a vehicle at a gas.
Seven plastic bags of cocaine were recovered.
The cocaine seized weighed 202 grams.
Gutierrez-Castillo remains in Orient Road Jail with no bail set.
Tampa Police Department spokeswoman Laura McElroy said several more arrests are expected. Since the investigation is ongoing, no further information will be divulged now, she said.
