in college it makes sense to root for your team's conference because the better the conference does overall, the higher your team will be ranked (all else being equal)

that's not the case in the NFL... we have a playoff system... so shut the fuck up

if the Packers beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl, it's not going to be beneficial to the Niners at all

steelers will have problems going up against jets pass D, it could well be a jets / packers SB

whoever gets in, it should be a great SB

I want jets to get in there because of rex ryan, I said at the start of the season he is a very good coach but got mocked for it, however, I just can't go for sanchez, he reminds me of the 90's 00's babies and is immature, he doesn't deserve a ring, but his teammates do.

rodgers and the packers deserve one too

bears havnt won one since 85 and their D has been playing nice all year, same with steelers, its hard to be nuetral now

The embarrassing part came from a few classless guys [on the Jets] after the game. There were a lot of classless things that went on after the game ended.''

When asked what he was referring to, Branch answered, "Didn't you see it? You've got to go back and watch it. Pretty classless stuff.''

Some of New England's players left the field when time ran out rather than shake hands with the Jets players. When asked if he was one of them Branch said, "I'm a champion. I'm always going to congratulate guys. They beat us today. The ones with class, I shook their hands. And the ones that didn't, I didn't [shake their hands]. You can tell they're not used to being in this position.''

slow down there mr. branch. we all know the jets aren't the most humble bunch out there but to see a patriot player crying about some other team being classless is just a tad much don't ya think?


god i hate the fact that the jets and steelers are the two teams fighting for the right to represent the afc in the superbowl.

Congrats to Rex Ryan for pumping up his team and defeating the Pats. He chose wisely in featuring Greene and Tomlinson to tow the linebackers and open doors for Sanchez. Also, Shaun Ellis jamming the line and socking Brady was quite the athlete's feat.

On the heels of such a great win, I think they're a shoe-in over the Steelers.

he still is MVP of the REGULAR SEASON. no one played better than him and the only player who did went out of the playoffs without a win either. but hey this is the curse of the MVP, they never win it all. just facts

not really, i honestly think they get into there own heads. ever since brady was considered elite he hasnt done shit and i think thats due to the pressure he puts on himself. they've dealt with trashtalk before but brady didnt look right tonight even when he had time. and our defense was what our defense usually looked like so that wasnt a surprise to me. Brady been folding like origami and hopefully the shit changes or else imma hate him with the rest of you guys.

they should have done a ton of things that i just get aggrivated thinking of them. why fake punt when there less then 2 minutes left and we get the ball in the 2nd half? i think belichick knew our D was suspect and didnt want them back on that feild. hopefully we can have a good draft (which we usually do) and put some balls back in my team or else it's gonna be the new colts that look soo good then do shit in playoff football.
