Agent says Patriots would be a good fit for Pacman

No player is more synonymous with trouble than Adam "Pacman" Jones. No team is better at rehabilitating perceived problem children than the New England Patriots according to the Boston Herald. Could the two go great together? Jones' lawyer thinks so.
Manny Arora, Jones' attorney throughout his various brushes with the law, said yesterday that if the Tennessee Titans [team stats] decide to trade their troubled corner, the Pats would be atop his list of landing spots. Though the Patriots have been described in prior reports as having shown a measure of interest in Jones, there's no evidence their curiosity has ever advanced beyond cursory.
"Tennessee has said publicly that they're considering all their options, including a trade," Arora said. "If Tennessee decides there is going to be a trade, New England would be a very good fit for us. The reason for that is great leadership, strong coaching and a winning tradition. Over my years representing athletes and being a lawyer, as long as you're winning, all the baggage goes away. No one wants to be the guy to mess up winning. The track record the Patriots have in giving players a fresh start would be a great fit."

^^^yeah but when u have ur lawyers and ur agent saying patriots and the patriots are a contending team every year that may change a little, specially with our track record of changing "bad" people. like Dillon and Moss. they were noth looked at as washed up people with bad attitudes then came hear and played at a high level and stayed out of trouble.

Pacman will be in Dallas next tuesday

not in valley ranch tho

Confirmed: Pacman will be in Dallas on Tuesday

Hold on everyone! This isn't a visit to Valley Ranch to meet with the Cowboys.

Adam 'Pacman' Jones will be on 'The Michel Irvin Show' on Tuesday March 25th with Michael and Kevin Kiley. He will be visiting with the guys for the entire 3 hour show.

I received email confirmation of this from the show's producer..

Also, just so that you know, we are flying Adam Jones in next week and he will be doing the entire show with Michael on Tuesday.

Thanks!

just keep in mind, Irvin works verrrrrrrrrrrry close with Jerry Jones, and since no owners or Gm are aloud to talk to jones yet, this is a good way to have your pitch at him

Its a done deal baby!!!!!!!!! Welcome to Dallas

The Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans have agreed in principle on a trade for suspended cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.

Jones

Dallas will send its fourth-round pick in Saturday's draft to the Titans for Jones.

There are also conditions attached to the trade related to Jones being reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and how much he plays for the Cowboys. If he plays a significant amount of time in 2008, the Titans will get an additional pick from the Cowboys in 2009.

If he doesn't get reinstated by the NFL, the Titans will send an undisclosed 2009 draft pick back to the Cowboys.

Also, Pacman has reached a financial settlement with the Titans regarding his contract situation. ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Jones must pay $500,000 to a charity chosen by the Titans sometime in the next two years. He will receive a new contract from the Cowboys.

ESPN NFL reporters Ed Werder and Chris Mortensen contributed to this report
