I hope more people respond. I think Flexx played himself, and needs to apologize.

I can agree in part with his opinion that 2Pac could be an arrogant bastard, but for Flexx to still to this day, after all that's happened still sound all bitter and condemning "2Pac brought negative energy to the game. I didn't like how he dissed all these NY cats." ...but then he goes on to say "I promote peace." What is that??????

Just say "at one time, I was angry with 2Pac, but know I celebrate his contributions to Hip Hop". Instead FLexx sounds like a hurt bitch, and a hypocrite

i'm not buying his explanation at all. talking about "he brought negative energy to hip hop".... lol get the fuck out of here

he was on stage talking about "i don't suck 2pacs dick, i don't fuck with 2pac"... i doubt anyone would consider THAT as "positive energy", considering he had riled up that entire crowd filled with bitch ass 90's babies that i'm fairly certain don't give a fuck about "positive energy" in hip hop

Flex has zero to do with hip hop today. He just got the most media attention he will ever get from this and I bet that's what he did it for. He was not saying this in 96, 97, or even 98. He waited untill almost 15 years later because it would stir shit but probably not get him smoked like it would have back in the 90s. Seems like pussy shit to me. Fuck Flex.

You realize he's just a DJ, right? Kinda like DJ Khaled. And all DJ Khaled does is scream WE DA BEST, WE GLOBAL, I'M GOIN' IN, or whatever the phrase may be on EVERY SONG. How is Funkmaster Flex any different? Even DJ Clue would blurt out random shit at times on his mixtapes (not that I've heard any of 'em). If not that, it was the GUNSHOTS.

To his credit, he's one of the few DJs the put out MIXTAPES. Meaning it wasn't just a rapper rhyming over someone else's beats, but there was an actual transition from one song to the next via scratching and/or mixing.

Yeah, he was just trying to rile up the crowd and show off his favoritism but now he's trying to twist that into some enlightened criticism of 2pac.

Still, I wish the Outlawz had put out a diss track towards Suge Knight and Tha Realest. They warranted it more than Flex.
