Just bought The Jacka's "The Jack Artist" cd a week ago and I'm really feeling it. Do you have any other suggestions of Bay Area albums that have the same feel and sound to it?

Pick up San Quinn "I Give You My Word" if you haven't already. It doesn't have the same feel, but it's one of the few albums that I can bump without skipping a song.

Another great album is "Son Of A Pimp" by Mistah F. A. B. GO get that. "Negro League" by The TEAM is another quality release.

folks is sleeping on this album. when it was first released, my friend told me that shit is wack. now, since its starting to get some recognition, dude hopped on the bandwagon. the jack artist is probably the first official bay area rap album that appeals to backpackers. closes thing i could think of that you might like is Hieroglyphics - Full Circle and The Team - The Negro League.

I can't think of anyone in the Bay that has that laid back mobb style sound like the Jacka. I don't think there are any other cd's that sound like The Jack artist. Everything else coming out nowdays is mostly on that Hyphy tip. I would suggest copping Jacka's first solo album "The Jacka". It has a similar sound to it.
