From my experience, you're the ONLY person I've EVER heard of that looks way more deeply into a song than need be.
No... Not really. In fact I'm wondering what the fuck you're talking about. Just the other day I had kids telling me that I don't look deeply
enough into shit, because I didn't like the Crooked I shit they posted. Now your expert opinion is that I read too much into it.
So what if people think he sounds like Tech?
Ask him... He brought it up in his track, not me. Did you even listen to the song?
Only you would go to stalk his music looking for every single similarity possible that he makes. Really, you should stop being so judgmental and just start enjoying the music you're blessed with. And that goes for a lot of artists and songs, maybe not George specifically, but you sure do a lot of hating on music and it makes me wonder what the hell is sitting so high on your favorite pedestal that it brings you to criticize or question great music...
What is with the influx of people responding to my posts without seeming to have even read them? Here, I'll put it in bold for you. Maybe that will make it easier for you to understand.
The song is good, no doubt... But if you're going to flat out say in your song that people say you sound like Tech, you might want to do everything in your power to NOT SOUND like Tech. The second you bring up Tech people are going to be listening for similarities. If he hadn't brought up Tech, I would probably never have thought about it.
Did the bigger letters help you?
I cant help im influenced by the best.. In no wayyyy do I ever sit down when writing a song and say. ''Hey I wanna sound like tech, or anyone at that'' Dont get me wrong, I know that the flow is similar, but I never ever flat out try and be or rap like dude. If u heard my album u could hear alot of my influences including.. Tech, Pac, Nirvana, crooked I, Daz Kurupt. etc...
I do appreciate your opionions, but I cant accept someone telling me that im trying 2 immulate someone's style..
I didn't say that at all. I said that your chorus is similar in style. The flow and tone of the chorus is only slightly different. I'm not sayin' you heard Breathe and sat down to write a song that sounded like it. What I AM saying is that in the song you put people down for saying you sound like Tech, but then your chorus sounds like a Tech song.
I'm not even saying I didn't enjoy the song, because I think it's one of the best songs that I've heard posted around here in quite a while. But if you don't expect people to listen to your lyrics and then evaluate them based on what they are hearing, then what's the point of writing lyrics at all?
If anything, "sounding" like Tech N9ne is a compliment. Nobody's sayin' you're biting his shit. There's a difference. And to all the people that want to come back at me runnin' their pussy lips about how I'm a "hater", why don't you save yourself the time, because I won't even reply to you. I just flat out complimented the dude and I know you don't bother to read my posts. All you do is read between the lines, a bunch of bullshit that isn't there.
