This proves my point, yall shouldnt be actin like this was supposed to be some type of spectacular fight. I guess you all got played by the media that hyped errybody up by this shit.
Even if they did have a rematch, I believe both fighters would actually get less money. All the casual or even non boxing fans that got caught up in the hype(Floyd's) and bought this fight would not pay for the rematch due to this one being uneventful. As a result, a rematch would make generate less revenue meaning smaller paydays for both men.

NEWS FLASH
Oscar, Floyd Controversy!
The official Nevada master scorecard lists Oscar De La Hoya as fighting out of the blue corner, and Floyd Mayweather fighting out of the red corner. In reality, it was De La Hoya fighting out of the red corner and Mayweather out of the blue corner. Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer is currently investigating whether the scores were recorded accurately.

NEWS FLASH
Oscar narrowly missed draw!
Judges Chuck Giampa (116-112) and Jerry Roth (115-113) scored the bout in favor of Floyd Mayweather. Tom Kaczmarek (115-113) scored it for Oscar De La Hoya. Roth scored the twelfth round for Mayweather, however, IF he would have scored the twefth round for De La Hoya, his card would have read 114-114 and the Golden Boy would have retained his WBC title with a draw. Both Giampa and Kaczmarek gave the last round to Oscar.

I don't care what casual boxing fans or what sports fans in general say, ask a hardcore fight fan and he will tell you that it was a good fight. Only real boxing fans can appreciate a tactical battle between world class boxers....

Having said that, this fight reminds me a lot of Tarver VS Jones I.
Where I had Tarver winning a close fight but he refused to attack Jones.
When he attacked, it was clear that Tarver was the better fighter.
Well it was the same case tonight with De La Hoya VS Mayweather.
I had Oscar winning by a point. But it was very clear that Mayweather had absolutely no answer for Oscar's jab.
Why Oscar didn't throw it enough is beyond me.
I don't think the fight would've even been close had Oscar opened up more starting with his jab. And this is exactly how I felt about Tarver when he fought Jones the first time....

Oh well....
On a side note, I scored round 10 even.
Had it gone to Floyd, the fight would've been a draw in my book.
In my eyes Floyd's best was a draw, but not a win.
If anyone deserved to win it was Oscar.
But I won't bitch about the decision with boxing fans who think Floyd won a close fight. But people like Max Kellerman who thought Floyd dominated are frankly full of shit.

I knew Oscar was in trouble when I found out that Chuck Giampa and Jerry Roth were going to judge the fight.
Those two are the worst judges in boxing.
And it's no coincedence that JERRY ROTH who had Floyd winning 115 - 113,
GAVE THE FINAL ROUND TO MAYWEATHER.
Had he rightfully scored the 12th round for De La Hoya,
Oscar would've retained his title with a majority draw....

At the end of the day, I am not upset that Floyd got the decision.
Give him two rounds on my card and he gets a narrow victory.
What I am upset about is that Chuck Giampa and Jerry Roth have once again screwed De La Hoya over.
Additionally, it's the second time that Jerry Roth in particular comes in and rescues Floyd Mayweather's unbeaten record.
(Roth awarded Mayweather a 4 point victory over Castillo in their first fight)....
