Oscar De La Hoya VS. FLoyd Mayweather Jr..

Mayweather is quick, but he has never fought anyone like DLH. DLH hits mutherfuckin HARD. Mayweather got rocked by Zab Judah last year, and Zab Judah has NOTHING on DLH. Mayweather ended up winning the fight, so was the better fighter. If DLH connects with one of his good punches, Mayweather will be seeing stars.
And Mayweather is only 5 years younger than DLH. I don't think age will make much of a difference in this fight.
The reason DLH wants the fight at his weight class is because he worked hard to get there. He had to move up in weight himself when he was building his career just so that he can fight better fighters. He learned that it is hard to do, but he did it. He ended up losing a couple fights because of it, but that's what he had to do to try to prove to everybody that he could do it. What's wrong with making Mayweather do the same thing? Mayweather has fought a bunch of NOBODIES his whole career. Arturo Gotti can take a punch, but doesn't have real knockout power.. Jose Luis Castillo should have won their first fight, but the judges gave a controversial ruling to Mayweather. He did end up giving Castillo a rematch and woop his ass, but he should've lost the first fight. He did beat Diego Corrales, I give him that one. But everybody else in his fight history ain't SHIT. Mayweather has a big mouth, and I can almost GUARANTEE that DLH is going to shut him up.

He's going to stay outside but close enough to catch De La Hoya.
I think Floyd will have to fight a perfect fight because De La Hoya can fight this fight in two ways. He can come out brawling, meaning that Oscar can come out and impose his size on Mayweather and pressure him like Castillo did. Or De La Hoya can stay outside and fight off his jab much like Zab Judah did in the early rounds in his fight with Mayweather.
Mayweather won't be able to hurt De La Hoya, and his hand speed will not be as big an advantage as most people think. De La Hoya has very quick hands.
Instead Mayweather needs to use his superior footwork to ensure that De La Hoya never gets close enough to land that big left hook.
He will also have to rely on his quick reflexess to counter De La Hoya.
He has to make sure that he makes De La Hoya throw a lot of punches, De La Hoya tires in the late rounds. If De La Hoya fights at the pace that he wants to, he might have a few gallons left in the tank for the late rounds.
Floyd being the smaller man, he can't afford that because depending on how Oscar fights him, he might start to tire as the fight progresses.
Floyd better stay off those ropes!!!!

I see Floyd Mayweather back pedalling the whole night after he realizes that he can't hurt De La Hoya. After that it will be a peek-a-boo contest where the aggressor in De La Hoya will get the benefit of the doubt in the close rounds.
Also don't be surprised if Mayweather hurts his hands again using those lightly padded Reyes gloves.
It can go that way....

De La Hoya might just take a page from Jose Luis Castillo's blue print and will put a lot of pressure on Floyd.
Mayweather's lack of a plan B and lack of experience altogether will ultimately walk him into a devastating knock out.
De La Hoya's right hand will be key....

I'd love to see De La Hoya bully Floyd, but in all honestly, thats not really his steez. Hopefully, Roach changed that, during camp...but going back and watching the first Castillo-Floyd fight, I realized that Castillo is probably one of the best 'In The Pocket' fighters, meaning his inside game is bananas...and he can cut off the ring with the best of 'em.
I'm starting to think that Oscar's best be would be to try and negate Floyd's speed by keeping him on the outside with the jab, since Floyd is another great 'In The Pocket' fighter, and most of his quickest, hardest shots are the body digs that he throws with both hands when he's in close.
Ahhh ! I'm done trying to analyze this fight ! LOL...so many possibilities...I just want to see it go down already !

Using a torrent site is typically a lot faster that megauploads or whatever people are using these days plus there are no screen shots or often times not any description on the quality of video in that movie thread.
I downloaded the two episodes of the 24/7 from that movie thread but when I checked this morning I didn't see last nights episode.
