^^The only one that might be considered a great fighter out of that bunch would be Jose Luis Castillo and I thought Castillo beat Mayweather the first time around. The others are good but not great. Although Floyd said this is his last fight, win or lose I think Golden Boy Promotions are going to try to get him in there with Mosely next.
Are you putting Oscar in the same class as Gatti? Oscar went 9 rounds with Bernard Hopkins who went up to Lt. Heavyweight to become champ. If anyone's getting KO'd it's Floyd. On top of that, Floyd couldn't even KO (or even hurt) Carlos Baldomir or Zab Judah. (who was taken out by one right hand from Kostya Tszyu)
Mosely would have been a great match up.
I'd say Mayweather probably has avoided a couple good fighters in his career, imo not because he thought they had a chance but because of $$$, other than that there really just isn't any "great" fighter out there in or around his weight class.
I've seen a lot of his fights, I have quite a few on DVD, and other than the Castillo fight, he just seems so far head of all his opponents on all levels, he destroys just about anyone, if not by power than with technique and speed to the point where it's embarrassing for the opponent.
The only thing I give Oscar is the weight advantage. I don't know how well PBF will do with the extra weight but honestly I don't see it having much effect.

I don't know about that 2-0-Sixx.... Zab was giving him trouble early in that fight. You don't remember Zab landing that straight left? I was like whew... I never seen someone land a clean shot like that on Mayweather. Zab shot that left out pretty quick and it was straight and on the money.... as the fight went on that's when Zab started getting tired and Mayweather do to his superb conditioning started taking over. Check out these highlights. I think it took Mayweather a minute to adjust to Zab's left hand.

I wouldn't go as far to say the reason Zab lost was because he got tired, it was because Mayweather Broke him the fuck down like a great fighter does.
Just because someone has control in the early rounds doesn't necessarily mean they are winning the fight, just look at 99% of Bernard Hopkins fights, who usually always loses the first few rounds.

^I hear you but from my view Zab was winning that fight early on. Mayweather was breaking him down but I thought Zab was running out of gas because he stopped firing his left like he was doing early on in the fight. I think he hit Mayweather with that low blow because he needed a break. But from what I saw Zab gave him trouble early on in the fight.
You're right about Bernard Hopkins but that's why he lost those two fights to Jermaine Taylor. In my opinion I thought Bernard won both fights narrowly.
