Once again...another E-40 Sales Update 6/15/2006

Are ou insane? That would be nice, but that would be a beyond adnormality in the workings of Billboard. It is tight that 40 is steady. He migt make it to gold and that would be good to show the insiders that a bay rap artist can reach that goal. But why would he jump to muscle cars? U N Dat JUST came out as far as the nation is concerned. 40 's situaltion is bigger than the Bay...just because we are worn out on Tell Me When To Go and U N Dat doesn't mean the other areas have even really heard it. PLUS I doubt if Warner Bros. would give an artist that hasn't reached gold 3 videos. 40's album is a sucess for the Bay, but a flop on the national scale as far as units sold.

Ya'll gonna be sittin around countin his sells for the next 20 weeks until he finally goes Gold, and by that time atleast 4 other Bay artists would have dropped. I'm not even worried about this album anymore, it was a failure. If Too Short flops too and then The Feds, the Bay will officially be outcasted and blackballed from Hip Hop forever as the biggest joke in hip hop history... I love the movement, but I don't like how it was started and introduced, E-40 hurt us more than he helped honestly, atleast for now, unless we can really get niggas like FAB and Keak out there nationally then it would of been all worth it..

40 is doing well.He is on a national AND 1 tour. Dont forget hes been in a top position for many moons alot of rappers came and went. He represents the bay to the fullest thats why the Bay is on MtV,B.E.T,etc.40,The click and Short made it good for ninjas to say there from the bay with constant record sales year after year nation wide.Keeping the bay name out there nationally.I feel its really disrespectful hattin on E40 when hes made so many achievement and how he is on so many albums across the world doing his thang. Back in the days when people say where you from? we will say Cali,The bay they will say L.A We say no The Bay!!They say ohh SanFrancisco bay area. Now When we say Cali The Bay.They say The Baywe know about yall thats where 40 from . we say hell yeah The Bay. 40 opened alot of doors for bay artist now its up for them to take advantage of it.
