I think the theme was inspired by X-Raided's Unforgiven Vol.1 album, when he refers to his competition as 'peasants' and to himself as a king. So newbies were "peasants" then after you had a specific number of posts (e.g., 200), you were promoted to a "noble" and so on and so on.. so you would go from being a peasant, to a noble, to a knight.
Brotha Lynch, Zagg, Loki, Sicx all used to post here frequently and would all interact with members of the forum. Mr. Doctor posted a few times too. Also, there was a member who kept in contact with X-Raided, would start a question thread then send members' questions for X-Raided, to X-Raided to the pen. X-Raided would write back, and the member would post the answers which X-Raided responded with in his letters.
From what I remember, the forum pretty much revolved around Black Market Records, which ran the underground scene in the late 90's and was based in Sacramento (hence the "91Siccness").
BART was a completely different website back then. After it shut down, 91Siccness created a BART section on their forum, and most of the people that used to post on BART migrated here. Soon after the Sacramento rap scene died out, and BART took over.
Yea, if I remember Sicx would also set up private chatrooms on AOL for 91Siccness and a bunch of us would go in and chat with dude on there too. I remember some chick who used to post here who also would rap, and he was constantly trying to get at the broad and ask her to send him pics and invite her to kick it lol!
