way to stereotype! you're well on your way to becoming a great cop!

black churches are alot more upbeat than white & latino churches....not only the music, but the preacher/father/whatever usually has alot more energy, and so does the crowd. funny thing is that I've been to all these different churches, but I'm not religious at all

White churches - people dress however

Black churches - if you ain't in your Sunday best you will get straight mugged

White churches - often the music tends to be sort of more rock and roll / contemporary styled, often a band with instruments

Black churches - the music has a more gospel / R&B vibe, maybe a bass player, almost always an electric or acoustic piano

White churches - the message tends to be more structured and specific, white preachers are more reliant on programs and outlines, preacher tends to be more formal, like a lecture or a speech

Black churches - the message tends to be more freeform and is really on the whim of the preacher, preacher tends to be more emotional and animated

White churches - More likely to preach that certain specific things are right & wrong

Black churches - Tend to give off a more general idea that you should follow biblical principles and be a good person

White churches - Tend to have this vibe like "to be a Christian you must attend our church, our small groups, read the bible X amount, and pray often. Your family must be clean cut and you may only listen to Christian radio and watch the 700 club"

Black churches - Tend to have a sort of "Sunday is forgiveness day" vibe. What you do during the week is one thing, but you better show up, listen, and dress well on Sunday, and you'll be alright.
