Yesterday was a great day for NFL. I only bet parlays and finished +$916. If I would have bet everything I did on paper, would have been +1970. Let's see what today brings.
I am going to put a small $200 on Yankees to go to World Series next year. If they do end up in world series I will bet 1100/gm of that world series. Next season. If the Yankees do make it, I will tell you how I selected that bet in 1 minute, without statistical analysis. If they don't make it, you will see that statistical analysis is a good strategy or a better strategy than I used.
Vegas Insider has them listed as 4/1 so if the sportsbook I go to has 4/1 then will raise to $400 Pics will be posted. Let's get this shit Rollin.
One of the first sports betting rules is do not procrastinate on your targeted bets. Yankees were still 4/1 on New Years. When I gambled last week they we're 3/1 to win ALCS. Just had an associate lay $200 for me and it was at 2.5/1 smh...... Don't procrastinate or you may not get the bet you really want (in cases of events at dates months down road).
Let this be a lesson for regular Joe's out there, at my expense, parlays should only be optioned for fun because they majority of the time end in disappoint.
My original plan for the day was going to be Texas Tech SPREAD. This would have also made a good cover bet for this parlay bet (instead I foolishly hedged a parlay with a parlay, which is a big no-no)
Won some small plays while staying to collect SB $
Unfortunately Northwestern cost me $90 on two parlays that would have paid out another $900. Lesson learned there is don't include iffy teams on two parlays, better bet would have been to take opponent or a different game on one and Northwestern on the other, would have still paid substantially.
