Game 1 Pitching match up.

Jarrod Parker

vs

Justin Verlander

Note:
In the last 2 starts for Verlander, he has an almost 5.00 era, and his postseason stats are not good. In 8 starts he's 3-3 with a 5.57 era.

Game times for

Game 2 -Sunday 10/7- 9:07 am

Game 3 - Tues 10/9- 6:07 pm

I don't really see it as an advantage to allow the lower seeded team to play the first two at home. in a five game series? if they win both, that means the 'better' team has to win those three games!

Anyway it won't matter cuz I can see the A's matching up really well against the Tigers. Now's the time, and the A's feelin it. Cant wait.

I'm expecting the A's to turn it up even more than they have in the past 6 games. We have a good chance if we can get through Detroit. So many analysts are writing them off AGAIN. lets hope that sparks another fire.

we need to spark something quick, neshek needs to shut this 7th inning down, and our boys need to do something big. If we can take down verlander we'll have a huuuuge advantage going into tomorow

damn seth smith hit that as close as you can to the wall without it going out. And the A's are playing well against Verlander, he's fucking good. The unearned run was was unnecessary but what can you do.

This is the dumbest playoff format for series i seen in my life. Fucken bullshit that the first 2 games are on the road and the umps sure didnt help today calling everything Verlander threw a strike, its already difficult enough to face him. He doesn't need any help

Maaaan, if we would of made that double play and got that out on first base without fumbling the ball!

But still the pitchers on Detroit are hard, I was juiced when Crisp hit that shit first at bat but it was done after that.

It felt like we was choaking for a minute with all them errors, the BIG TIME was getting to their heads a little I think.

milone has been real shakey on the road. God damn I wish it was the old format. Parker and milone woulda pitched at home, griffin and anderson would get the next 2 on the road(assuming andersons ready).
