I guess cause Okami was like that. I played Okami (and beat it) so I recognize everything that was going on in the vid (the different beads around the neck, the different swords, etc.) What would have really been sick is if you have to paint your "super-hyper-ultra-end of the world-finishing move" (or whatever it is the main special is called) instead of entering joystick motions.

as far as easier one button moves, the new BB has beginner mode which performs full combos by just repeated presses of the same button. kind of lame.

is there a list of all announced characters.

I'll main felicia and venom, but wonder who i can use as a third wheel.
