what was everyones madden IQ?

mine was 560 something
I got a 588. Fucked up on the Pass Defense, kept trying to go for the INT instead of just blocking the pass or whatever.

I gotta admit, the demo seemed pretty tight. I'm looking forward to this game. And that lil article, who fuckin cares if Madden is a hologram?? I don't know how the IQ testing will work, but the game play seemed pretty solid to me.

After playing the demo... it's a BIG step up from 2008. I really hope the full game does have the CPU sliders, because while I found the IQ test VERY easy, the Madden Moment was more frustrating than challenging. Part of that stems from starting on 4th and 1, though, so it shouldn't be as bad playing a whole game as opposed to having to score a TD in 1:30.

I actually went from only renting it to buying it, I'm pretty impressed with the demo.

Former Packers QB Brett Favre has returned to the NFL, announcing his retirement from retirement and throwing a wrench into EA's plans to have him as cover boy for Madden NFL 09. Favre, photographed in his Packers uniform, is now playing for the Jets, leading to a very important, last minute roster change. That change won't, however, affect his appearance on the cover of this year's Madden.

That said, fanatical football fans with a desire for accuracy will be able to download a Jets uniformed Favre next week, according to MTV Multiplayer. It's due to hit EAsports.com sometime next week, just begging to be printed and inserted into a clear plastic sleeve. Ready the inkjets!

so i did a lil research and still cant really figure out what this whole CPU SLIDERS thing is about.
is it that when you played a team that was really hard or really easy youd go to the options and slide the difficulty to suite your need,to make a fairer game?i never played this way but it seams like alot did.thats for the clarification

Nah... The older games had sliders that would affect different things in the game, ie. interceptions, qb accuracy, things like that.

Now, some people might have exploited them, but I always used them to get as close to accurate as possible with stats and whatnot during a game.

Now it seems that You can't do this, that the game just gets harder the better you get at it, which means people will cheat so they can get easy achievements, or to get easy wins against people who aren't nearly on their level online.

I don't know how I'll like the new system until I play the game for a while, but it's not what I am basing buying the game on.
