so you are tired of warrior fans wanting to improve? if that makes yout he best warrior fan then so be it. i like to evolve with the times. and improving is doing just that. business is business. wins are wins. ellis is dope and i dont want him to go. but you give me a top 5 big man for him, and i have zero complaints. we are talking about Olympic gold medalist possibly. talking career double double guys. talking about guys who have scored 50 in a game and also multiple games with 20+ rebounds. shot blocks, and pick and roll specialists....... are you that caught up on ellis? who signed a 66 million contract an went out and broke his ankle, and still walks with a slight limp? i love the guy (no homo) but ellis is not going to do for the warriors what lebron does for cleveland, or kobe does for the lakers. we gave superstar money to a tweener. he aint a super star and he aint an average player. if we can come out the other end smelling like a rose, with a big man and a pg out the draft ah lah d. rose oj mayo this year...... man.......
Im not saying anything about being the "best fan". im saying a WEEK ago, u urself were stoked to have ellis on the team, and his comeback! but because hes coming off a major injury, and hasnt been the player he was last year, he gets no love all of a sudden. Its gonna take time to get him to be a superstar, and he will be. He'll get his shot back, he moves the ball around the court, he can drive like no other, he just gets buttfucked on foul calls. the team we have IS SICK. We have a team, when fully healthy, that can beat teams. Fuck id love a kobe or lebron too, or dwight howard but u dont think every team hopes for a top 3 player? The warriors are gonna have to change something, but its not gonna come in from a flashy scorer, we already have that, and several of them. When they move the ball around to create open shots, limit their turnovers, and create turnovers via mismatches on defense, they win games.
We get beat on rebounding, and i do think they need another big man, but its not gonna be bosh or amare, plain and simple. im trying to save the grief that some of ya'll are bringing on urselves. And im wrong, so be it, then it works out for everyone. I just dont think giving up several players that are core to the team for a "superstar" is gonna do it.
edit: and i have to say "improving" is improving on defense, rebounding, and not turning the ball over. We've seen what they can do, they just havent closed out games.
