so you are tired of warrior fans wanting to improve? if that makes yout he best warrior fan then so be it. i like to evolve with the times. and improving is doing just that. business is business. wins are wins. ellis is dope and i dont want him to go. but you give me a top 5 big man for him, and i have zero complaints. we are talking about Olympic gold medalist possibly. talking career double double guys. talking about guys who have scored 50 in a game and also multiple games with 20+ rebounds. shot blocks, and pick and roll specialists....... are you that caught up on ellis? who signed a 66 million contract an went out and broke his ankle, and still walks with a slight limp? i love the guy (no homo) but ellis is not going to do for the warriors what lebron does for cleveland, or kobe does for the lakers. we gave superstar money to a tweener. he aint a super star and he aint an average player. if we can come out the other end smelling like a rose, with a big man and a pg out the draft ah lah d. rose oj mayo this year...... man.......
Im not saying anything about being the "best fan". im saying a WEEK ago, u urself were stoked to have ellis on the team, and his comeback! but because hes coming off a major injury, and hasnt been the player he was last year, he gets no love all of a sudden. Its gonna take time to get him to be a superstar, and he will be. He'll get his shot back, he moves the ball around the court, he can drive like no other, he just gets buttfucked on foul calls. the team we have IS SICK. We have a team, when fully healthy, that can beat teams. Fuck id love a kobe or lebron too, or dwight howard but u dont think every team hopes for a top 3 player? The warriors are gonna have to change something, but its not gonna come in from a flashy scorer, we already have that, and several of them. When they move the ball around to create open shots, limit their turnovers, and create turnovers via mismatches on defense, they win games.

We get beat on rebounding, and i do think they need another big man, but its not gonna be bosh or amare, plain and simple. im trying to save the grief that some of ya'll are bringing on urselves. And im wrong, so be it, then it works out for everyone. I just dont think giving up several players that are core to the team for a "superstar" is gonna do it.

edit: and i have to say "improving" is improving on defense, rebounding, and not turning the ball over. We've seen what they can do, they just havent closed out games.

So most of you guys want the Warriors to experiment with the core of their team with the understanding that after a year it could all be shot anyway? Isn't that what they've always done?

@ hella_numb - Keep in mind that there are people out there who joke back.

I really like Randolph, I hope he is here long term but it seems like he is forcing himself out of golden state. ellis i like to but he is easily replaceable as 2 guards are everywhere, in the nba and college. biedrnis i like as well but i dont know if he will ever be more then a garbage man big man, which is good but he isn't that low post player that the warriors have been tryin to get for years. it's hard to say, what if we keep this core and let them grow and they never do shit together (dunleavy, murphy, j-rich) even tho this core looks better (biedrnis, ellis, randolph, wright, morrow). i also think that amare has hit his ceiling in the NBA. he is what he is and wont get much better. while biedrnis is already a great defender and rebounder and his offense has yet to really develop like it could.

ive kinda went back and forth on this topic but its just hard to give up potential for someone proven.

W's need to wait till the offseason to make moves, this season is shot and they should trade Ellis for a legit big man just cuz we have to many guards and Ellis has the highest value.

I say if we can get bosh (which I don't think will happen) then do it other then that wait till the offseason.
I agree that we should trade ellis

i also think we should wait til the offseason. tank the rest of the season and play randolph and wright and see what you got with them and hopefully you hit the lottery and get blake griffen, if not make a move with our pick and players.

Morrow hasnt peaked yet. Its not really giving up on Ellis, its upgrading, if we can keep Crawford, a lineup or Crawford, Buike, Jax, Bosh and Beans would be dope. they could even go Crawford, Jax, Turiaf, Beans, Bosh against bigger lineups....
HA HA HA FUKIN CHREE............HAD ME ROLLIN WITH THAT PIC.!!! DAMN BO$CH AND $TOUDIMIRE WOULD B $ICK.

the next few days will be interesting....

looking at the next years payroll, the warriors have ~60 million tied up to 11 players, which doesnt give them much money to go out and get a legit PF in free agency.....unless crawford opts out which would free up 9.3 mil

Nah, there's no time limit.

I remember Sheed went from the Blazers to the Hawks to the Pistons in like 5 days.

But I would keep Crawford. He's a baller. 50 pts 3 times in his career. Plus I think his crossover might be 2nd in the game only to Iverson. Wish he would be more aggressive though.
