I THINK CARLOS BOOZER MIGHT BE THE MOST EFFICIENT PICC-UP 4 THE WARRIORS...HIM & BEIDRENS WOULD BE BEASTS TOGETHER ON THE BOARDS & HE ADDS A DIMENSION THE WARRIORS NEED....A PF WITH A SHORT RANGE JUMPER & A GOOD SPACE EATER SO THE GUARDS CAN PICC & ROLL...I DON'T KNOW WHO THEY WOULD GIVE UP BUT I THINK IT WOULD BE SMART..OR ELSE TRADE ONE OF THE GOOD GUARDS 4 A TRUE SMALL FORWARD WITH 3 POINT RANGE

damn people giving up on ellis already? some of ya'll give up on players pretty quickly, it went from buike, to maggette to ellis, and u wanna keep morrow? morrow is sick but hes probably the least worthy player to keep out of those 4.

Morrow hasnt peaked yet. Its not really giving up on Ellis, its upgrading, if we can keep Crawford, a lineup or Crawford, Buike, Jax, Bosh and Beans would be dope. they could even go Crawford, Jax, Turiaf, Beans, Bosh against bigger lineups....

ellis and capt jack are my 2 favorite warriors. but i also know that if i want to see them make a run at a title we are gonna need to make moves. baron leaving opened my eyes to the business that is basketball.

no love lost for ellis. i think he is a freak. but i want to win. so what ever it takes to do that, then so be it.

Personally, i like bosh myself, + i think trading for him makes more sense than Amare, the Rapetors are in the east, and whoever we trade wont be playing us that often and haunting us.

I would keep randolph if we do any trade. if we can get bosh/amare and still keep biedrnis then we have 6'10" players at the 3/4/5 who can all run and defend pretty decent well as well as rebound, then we can find 2 players at PG and SG which is the easiest position to fill (pg is pretty hard). Ellis is expendable becuase other then randolph/biedrnis he is the only other one that other teams would trade for.

so say you trade ellis/maggette/marcus williams and probably bellinelli for bosh. probably wright if they want him.

your lineup for the future would be great

Crawford/Rookie PG
Azubuike/Morrow
Jackson/Randolph
Bosh/Wright
Biedrnis/Turiaf

there are a lot of PG coming out this draft.

Boozer i wouldnt go after. dude dont keep his word, is injury prone, and needs proactiv hella bad. not to mention he demands a lot of money for 50 games a year.

It's hard to say who goes but i would keep my athetlic bigs, becuase Biedrnis is proven and randolph looks more and more legit every game he plays. everyone else on the roster is easily replaceable. maybe not jack's swag tho, thats priceless.

tbh...Out of all the people we're thinking about...I would want to get Bosh. I still need to see that Amare can be a great big without a great PG. Boozer is a beast but like someone else said before...dude is WAY too injury prone.

Prolly feels dumb as hell too leaving the Cavs. Cavs would have a title right now if he stayed.

IT WOULD BE DUMB IF THE WARRIORS TRADE FOR AMARE OR BOSH. YOUR GONNA TRADE YOUR YOUNG TALENT AND FUTURE PICKS FOR SOMEBODY WHO IS ONLY GONNA BE ON YOUR TEAM FOR A SEASON AND A HALF. WHEN THEIR CONTRACTS EXPIRE BEFORE 2010, THERES HELLA TEAMS WHO CAN OFFER THEM A MAX CONTRACT AND SOME TEAMS WHO CAN OFFER A FEW MAX CONTRACTS TO HAVE THEM PLAY NEXT TO ANOTHER STAR SO WHY THE HELL WOULD AMARE OR BOSH SIGN BACK WITH THE WARRIORS WHO OBVIOUSLY WONT BE DOIN SHIT INSTEAD OF PLAYING FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER OR TO PLAY ALONGSIDE ANOTHER STAR PLAYER FOR EXAMPLE LEBRON. IT WOULD BE GIVING UP YOUR FUTURE JUST TO LEASE A PLAYER FOR A SEASON

if you have the player on your roster you own his bird rights. which means you can offer him more money and more years then any other team can. most players would take that offer. and you wouldnt do a trade without knowing his thoughts on your team city. hell if you trade for bosh you can extend him contract right away and wont even have to trip off it.

I DONT THINK AMARE HAS THE BR ON HIS CONTRACT BUT IF HE DID WITH TEAMS THROWING OUT MAXIMUM OFFERS, WARRIORS AINT GONNA PUT THAT DOWN. STOUDAMIRE OR BOSH WOULD NOT WANNA STAY ON A LOSING TEAM BELIEVE THAT. AND IF U WERE TO EXTEND THEIR CONTRACT RIGHT AWAY, ITS GONNA BE A WHOLE LOT MORE MONEY CUZ U HAVE TO PAY THEM MORE THEN U THINK THEY WILL MAKE IN THE FREE AGENCY OR THEY WOULD RATHER WAIT TILL THEIR CONTRACT ENDS AND GO TO A CONTENDING TEAM WITH MAX CONTRACT

ur basketball knowledge is minimal

we probably got monta and biedrnis cheaper then we would of paid for them if they hit the free agent market.

my bad i was a lil off.

Larry Bird exception

Perhaps the most well-known of the NBA's salary cap exceptions, it is so named because the Boston Celtics were the first team permitted to exceed the salary cap to re-sign one of their own players (in that case, Larry Bird). Free agents who qualify for this exception are called "qualifying veteran free agents" or "Bird Free Agents" in the CBA, and this exception falls under the auspices of the Veteran Free Agent exception. In a nutshell, the Larry Bird exception allows teams to exceed the salary cap to re-sign their own free agents, at an amount up to the maximum salary. To qualify as a Bird free agent, a player must have played three seasons without being waived or changing teams as a free agent. This means a player can obtain "Bird rights" by playing under three one-year contracts, a single contract of at least three years, or any combination thereof. It also means that when a player is traded, his Bird rights are traded with him, and his new team can use the Bird exception to re-sign him. Bird-exception contracts can be up to six years in length.

So bosh has bird rights attached to him unless he opts out. so basically we can go over luxury tax to sign him at a max contract.
