so is it safe to say after two games anthony morrow is LEGIT??? it's fun watching that cat shoot the rock
from him being named MVP in summer league, to what he showed us when he played in LA, and backing all of it up by putting up good numbers against the Blazers....yeah...i think its safe to say he is legit. I cant wait to see how he does as he gets more experience.

here's that dope move he did against Rudy...

He shook Fernadez out his shoes... Morrow is a breath of fresh air. Wait til you got Monta on the floor drawing the defense and Monta kicking the ball out to an open Morrow on the perimeter. He is on point wit his shooting rit now. It's gonna get harder for him as they start planning defenses to cover him though. He's a gamer though

The Warriors sure know how to make it hard on them selves. Until their young players gain some much needed experience over the season, they are gonna be in alot of close games due to their own mental mistakes. They got picked twice at the end of the game and Roy almost caused The Trailblazers to steal the game. Plus they all a lil selfish wit the ball. They all think shoot first instead of getting it to the open player, which means they don't totally trust each other just yet. Their half court game needs to get stronger on offense. Good win against another good young team.

inexperience factor.. youngest team in the league.. i was hella heated when they let the blazers back in it

plus what you mentioned.. they have too many of the same guys on the floor at the same time.. jax, maggette, buike, morrow.. all four of those guys are shoot first players.. with the exeption of jax who is trying to be a distributor.. which we already know can get ugly at times

question though.. i know nellie was giving morrow a breather in the 4th.. but why did he wait until the final minute to put him back in? and for defensive purposes? and why is he sitting brandan wright on the bench most of the game? at one point he put wright at the 5 and let him play along with the small ball guys.. that WON'T work.. brandan should be playing the 4.. along with biedrins or turiaf.. i know nellie is a master at creating mismatches.. but sometimes his substitutions irk the hell out of me.. it looks like right now he is just experimenting

I don't think he trust Morrow in the crucial minutes just yet. He probably felt we had the game under control too. Nellie is a offense first coach (defense is a distant 2nd), and honestly he does not like being stuck wit so many young players. He doesn't feel like he can rely on them night in night out so he is gonna keep switching up line ups trying to match the team to the situation at hand. This season has proven him right with the exception of Morrow which to me, after two games could still be a fluke (hope not). Teams haven't been practicing or putting in packages to cover Morrow yet, but when they do it's gonna be more of a challenge unless he is more of a beast than any of us expected. Nellie is gonna keep a short leash on that team and for good reason. Magette didn't do a bad job at the 4, but that won't work every night. i was wondering why he wasn't using Turiaf for the dirty work like boards. Turiaf gotta be thinkin damn,. "I wish I was over on the bench at L.A.". Brandon Wright is gonna have to be a lil more clutch if he wants to get the splinters out his ass.

I think Nellie is gonna wear A.B. out man. He is playin that kid entirely too much, but I guess we don't reall have a legitimate back up and we need his points and rebounds bad.

I'd like to see it too, just to see if he built like that. Nellie's reputation is on the line so he aint about to throw this season away and just be playing players just to be playing them. Honestly, every game we play, we're one player away from losin. Can you imagine what would happen if we lost Jackson right now??? It would be devestating. Nellie probably still can't admit to himself that one year later after winning 48 games, we are in a rebuilding phase. He's probably like how the hell did this happen. Right now, he's playin a mean game of chess or better yet poker. He's trying to keep his game face on, knowing he is almost sick to his stomach every game we play. I can see a big trade down the horizon to get another veteran body on this team. We need a real 4, and if I was Nellie, no one would be safe outside of a hand full of players.

speaking bout playoffs
i was hoping the blazers lost to the bulls who are 5-6 i think to give em a little losing streak cuz i think the dubbz go on the road for nine straight games on the road i think

EDIT- bulls got scrapped, and dallas won and the kings won

the bottom of the western conference is gonna be crazy this year again to many legit teams
