This show just generally sucks this season. I've never loved TWD. There were a couple times when it had some brilliant moments, but it's one of these shows that is more popular than it should be. Better Call Saul is more interesting.
I think its been one of the best lol
Same here. Last season was one of the better ones too, if not for the horrible cliff hanger at the end.

Negan and this plotline has breathed new life into the show as far as I'm concerned.

First people I've met who think this season has been good. Every friend, family member and co-worker all say otherwise. But hey, I'm sure there are people who loved the last season of Banshee and thought the ending to Dexter was brilliant.

When Negan isn't continually bending our main cast over and fucking them in the ass, we get loads of soap opera filler. That's what this season has been so far. I realize they're just building up to that huge turning-of-the-tables moment, but it's extremely boring as we go along. I'm just glad we haven't got more of that cringeworthy "kingdom" and it's leader so far. God, that episode was fucking retarded.

It's been the opposite for me and the people I talk to. Online reviews have been good this season too, besides the filler episodes. And with 16 episodes a season there is going to be some filler, it's just too many episodes so information there's going to be some boring episodes, like the Morgan episode or the god damn Coarl moments.

I think it would have been cool if the show threw a twist that Negan and his band of merry men were actually no better or worse than Rick and his crew, and that from Negans crew's perspective Rick was actually the bad guy. Negan didn't feel bad about what he was doing for the same reason Rick (generally) didn't feel bad about punishing/killing bad guys in the past.

What would Rick have done if a crew ambushed his outpost and killed all his men? Same thing Negan did.

Also for fuck's sake just pack up all your shit and drive to California or something.
Right. That kinda bothered me about Oceanside or whatever the all female camp is called. They are hiding and terrified of Negan, who killed all there men, so they shoot strangers on site so they can stay hidden. Just fucking leave! I guess if Negan has so many outposts set up they don't feel they can make it without being spotted but that would imply they are completely surrounded and if thats the case Negan would have found them by now. Or make a boat and float down water a bit. Idk, doesn't really make sense.

I thought that was what the show was getting at. They didn't do a real good job of it but I thought that was the point they were trying to make somewhat with what Rick and them did at the outpost and all.
