Chiefs football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head Coach Todd Haley immediately suspended practice while police were called to investigate. After a complete analysis experts determined that the white substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed after a special agent decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again!

Aaron Wilson of The Carroll County Times was on 610 SportsKC radio this morning in Kansas City talking about the Jonathan Baldwin-Thomas Jones fight that happened nearly a week ago. Wilson, who always seems to have inside information when it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs, revealed a few more details to the incident.
One of the most interesting details is that it appears that Thomas Jones punched Baldwin first:

Now on 610 Sports Radio @ravensinsider reports #Chiefs WR Jonathan Baldwin broke his thumb in weight room altercation with Thomas Jones after Jones sucker-punched Baldwin following verbal sparring.

And the incident apparently started when Baldwin took "exception to so called rookie hazing and wanted to stand his ground." Wilson added:

The incident with Jones followed some type of verbal altercation between Baldwin and Jamaal Charles.

These are most of the details that were reported earlier, with a few more specifics thrown in.
610 Sports just asked this question over at their Facebook page: Now that it appears that Thomas Jones "sucker-punched" Baldwin, does this change your perception of the incident? Personally, I'm over it. I don't care who started it. I'm fine with letting the laws of the locker room play out internally.

Jones came in to back up Charles being the "vet" n' all and he and Baldwin began to get into it.....Jones socks em', Baldwin swings back and cracks his thumb on TJ's massive arm when he misses.

With no news coming from One Arrowhead Drive these days...who knows.
