i understand completely..but from what i heard of tyler it dont sound like he denys his upbringing or tries to portray something he is not. to me his shit, at times, sounds on a emo tip (nomtty). kid talking about growing up fatherless and shit, i can see how that would bring hatred and anger. its his personal life and videos that give off that impression of a suburban spoiled brat, but shit..if i was his age with money i would wild out too.

this goes back to the conversation spoke on earlier about what artists look like and being able to see what ever is online about their lives besides music. shit, the spoiled label would be on damn near every young rapper in the 90s and early 2ks if there was instant information.

garbage. i'm not gonna get into why I think Esham is garbage again but you cats that dont know can do a search in this thread lol
why does esham think he birthed horrorcore or shock type raps? many rappers in that genre dont even cite him as an influence. they probably dont even know he exists.

True. Will Smith probably influenced more horrorcore rappers then Esham, with his "A Nightmare on My Street", in 1988. It was on top of the charts, and was a big single, unlike anything Esham ever did. Not to take away from anything Sham has done because he was one of the pioneers for a new sound.

Will Smith - A Nightmare on My Street, for the original Nightmare On Elmstreet movie.

im a pretty big esham fan, but hes lazier than brotha lynch. freestyling a bunch of shit with no hooks then throwing it together and calling it an album is dumb as shit. and that diss was weak.
as an esham fan I can co-sign this. he's one of the laziest rappers ever in the past 5 years or more. recycled lyrics, lazy rhymes, unfinished/unpolished beats, etc.

he's a shot rapper, way past his prime. always love him though, in his day he was truly ahead of his time. too many drugs too, I don't think his brain functions properly after all that abuse, doing acid at age 13 and shit.

E was indeed laggin so much wit his flow all across dmt sessions but it was a decent album nonetheless with a bizarre sound tho lol!! On the other hand Mastamind never disappoints with his delivery as he still goin at it; he just dropped a collabo ep wit a local rapper from Kalamazoo named Skitzo The Sumerian Tablet called "The Orthus"; its up for order at www.toxsic.com & Ive still gotta cop that......

Has tyler made any sort of response to esham either on twitter, online, etc?
I was thinkin about that one all along; I doubt hes gonna respond for two simple reasons..

One being: He doesnt know who Esham is nor he ever listened to any of his music

Two: Hes famous now just like Eminem & too rich & too good to diss a rapper who 1st innovated that style long long b4 OF appeared & never ever blew up regardless of how many records he & his group sold so he doesnt care like Soulja Boy dont care about Ice T so what!!
