Was it a diss? I got like 30 seconds into the actual song and turned it off.

lol @ this Media Takeout "article" on Tyler being in the Illuminati and a Satanist. Because we all know his success is being shaped by them and the other rappers in the Illuminati. It's not like that just over a year ago he was a kid posting the records that got him/them noticed on a message board asking people what they thought of his music. I've actually heard people say "it's kind of weird how he came out of nowhere isn't it?" in person lol.

The funniest thing is the "shocking evidence" they found.

OFWGKTA made their first splash on the charts this week. Odd Future's leader, Tyler, the Creator released his studio debut Goblin on XL Recordings. A follow-up to 2009's self-released Bastard, Goblin features band-mates Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis and Frank Ocean. The largely self-produced effort scored a Top 5 debut, as one of the stronger independent Hip Hop showings in 2011.

That vid/song posted is a diss track towards OFWGKTA
nope, that is NOT a diss track. It's a song about being from detroit. There are no disses in that track at all, not even the slightest. He doesn't even mention odd future or anyone for that matter.

and lol @ esham being the worst rapper ever, I know you don't like him and he's way past his prime now, but come on, just turn it to kube 93 and chances are the worst rapper ever is playing.

GLAAD Vows To Monitor Tyler, The Creator's Lyrics

Gay/Lesbian rights organization GLAAD has announced they will be monitoring the lyrics of Odd Future Wolfgang Kill Them All's lead rapper, Tyler the Creator.

GLAAD issued a statement siding with Sara Quin of indie rock band Tegan and Sara, who recently wrote an open letter criticizing Tyler's lyrics, which she labeled homophobic and misogynistic.

"No genre is without its controversial and offensive characters- I’m not naive," Sara Quin wrote. "I’ve asked myself a thousand times why this is pushing me over the edge. Maybe it’s the access to him (his grotesque twitter, etc). Maybe it’s because I’m a human being, both a girl and a lesbian. Maybe it’s because my mom has spent her whole adult life working with teenage girls who were victims of sexual assault. Maybe it’s because in this case I don’t think race or class actually has anything to do with his hateful message but has EVERYTHING to do with why everyone refuses to admonish him for that message."

Quin said that Tyler frequently hides behind his age and that his lyrics were "repulsive and irresponsible."

She also chastised critics and media for glorifying Tyler and his new album Goblin, which is currently #5 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart.

"If any of the bands whose records are held in similar esteem as Goblin had lyrics littered with rape fantasies and slurs, would they be labeled hate mongers?

A rep for GLAAD said on their blog they would be monitoring Tyler the Creator's lyrics more closely.

"We commend Sara Quin for speaking out publicly against Tyler’s lyrics and hope others will follow in her steps," GLAAD said in a statement. "GLAAD will continue to monitor media coverage of Tyler."

lol @ "vow to monitor Tyler, the Creator's lyrics"

What the fuck does that even mean? Are they going to have like a warning system for his lyrics? Like our terrorist threat alert levels?

Tyler said faggot, code red, code red! This is not a drill, I repeat this is not a drill!

Exactly. I'm not a big fan of Esham, but he's definitely not the worst rapper out today. Honestly though, I thought a group like Odd Future would be influenced by an emcee like Esham. He's used electronic samples for years now, and mixed that with brutal, and "out-there" imagery in his lyrics.

And it's funny too that Esham wouldn't really accept the "Horrorcore" label.. and went by "Acid Rap", but yeah I just see him being jealous with Tyler's violent subject matter getting over to mainstream levels.

I was a big Esham/Natas fan growing up and they appealed to me for pretty much the same reason Tyler/OF appeals to me today. It's just that there is like a 15-20 year gap between them. When Esham was a teenager, he was very creative and extremely different for his time and said some shocking things. Same shit with Tyler, imo.

I still don't see what esham said. Seems more like a way of getting views to his video to put OF's name in the title. The uploader of the video stated it was joke and they were their supporting odd future, so who knows.

Esham on Youtube through his "gothominc" account
said him calling it a sausage fest was just a joke and said they went to support them
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7Y6HHhc7bY @ the top of the comment section

But yeah I aree that in some way it's fair to compare Esham/Natas with Tyler/Odd Future, but as someone in this thread said it's a 15-20 year difference
and it's not rare to see Esham or Esham supporters attack those who sound like he did (ex. Eminem, D12, ICP, Psychopathic Records and Juggalos in general, Dice (a dude he even signed), and Mastamind (member of NATAS who he beefs with on and off).

Esham will always be a legend but his present day actions can either be him just poking fun at rappers within his old age or sum damn good cocaine
