Obie Trice to diss Messy Marv

It aint that easy. Not sure if the people that buy Obie's album are as hungry for "Beef" as bay area fans are. It's not like the fans outside of the bay are gonna be like, "Oh shit, who's this Messy Marv guy? I have to buy every one of his albums to see why Obie Trice doesn't like him." I could be wrong, though. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong lol.

Since Obie Trice is a Shady Records artist and MTV loves any and everything that has to do with Eminem, if enough buzz around this song is created so that MTV News does one of those little 2-4 minute segments on it and Mess' name is mentioned, then Mess can capitalize. Other than that, I don't see how Mess can capitalize.

obie is hard. period. one of the most slept on "mainstream" artists. I say "mainstream" because he is really underground but sdigned to shady.
Mess is the homie, I love the Bay. Im from Frisco. But dude was saying what every other cat says about Frisco. Snoop said it and so did plenty others. The fact of the matter is WE know Frisco is one of the sickest cities but we DO have like 15% gay populations.

I agree with Mr Peete on this one, I think its pretty lame that bay rappers are resorting to hoping a mainstream rapper will blow their name up in a beef to get exposure the Yuk Game beef is based on the same shit.
On the real though, just cuz these rappers are mainstream most the TRL types will think the guy who sells more records is the winner and will push the bay in more of a deeper funk than it already is.
