i'd never heard of these guys before until the other day they were mentioned on mtv news for some reason.

i think its a rapper, a guitarist, and a dj. apparently theyre outta oakland and had a song called someday played for the olympics.

and i saw on youtube they were on trl germany w/ those lesbian tatu beezies:

i think theyre better than most of the hyphy rappers out the bay but i dont know if im feeling them too much. the raps actually about something though, which is good

Flipsyde is dope. Their song "Someday" was actually the official theme song of the Olympics.

The rapper in the group is No The Piper who was around the Bay rappin' in the mid-90s. He used to fuck with Mike D and Sonny B who did a lot of shit for the Delinquents, Askari X, etc...

It's sad that some Bay artist could be doin it this big and get no attention on here, but let a Hyphy rapper be in the crowd at a A's game and it's a 10 page thread. These artist need bay Area support too. These are the ones really doin the work to show the world aswell as the industry that their is TALENT in the Bay Area.

their sound could indeed crossover....that song was wack, I couldn't even let it go past the first hook....but if they get a better single they could catapult to Linkin Park status.....doods rhymes were hella simple tho.....

^ Real spit. This is only the second time I have heard of them. Zion I, Heiroglyphics, Blackalicious are just some of the true talents we got, but they aint goin dumb so who gives a fuck rite? But its like that in all areas of Hip-Hop.

yep, heard about them last year. my friend told me about them cause he was like they comin' out from oakland.. and i was like wtf? i havent even heard their name. and then i kinda realized why, their styles different - kinda rap but not too much cause of the beat. they're alright. i only have "Someday" by them cause i don't think i really liked their other songs.
