i know your an old fuck, but were you even born when the raiders last won a sb?

i know for a damn fact you werent a fan back then...you were to busy trying to stay on the bandwagon.....
Yeah I was born... I wasn't a fan of any team back then. I know you probably pooped (like Norbit says at the beginning of Norbit, we even pooped together) on yourself when that Oiler defense made Frank Reich look like Joe Montana. LOL... your nickname should be Norblock.

Back to the Raiders....

vince young has this year to prove he deserves to be a QUARTERBACK in the nfl. hes a play maker, i cant say he isnt, but not a quality nfl quarterback. but this is a raiders thread, so lets talk about them. my tickets arrived in the mail a couple weeks ago.

isnt randall cunningham in the HOF?...

if were talking about winners....thats sumthing VY certianly IS.....talk shit aobut his passing stats or anything like that......but VY has won more games then lost and thats a simple fact

You think Vince Young is too good... how did Vince win more games than he lost when he can't even average 1TD pass per game? Give the Titan defense credit. You should be saying Albert Haynesworth won those games for y'all... without that D the Titans are hoot.

QBs are the leaders of the team even if they dont perform like tom brady or peyton manning...and just because he doesnt average something doesnt mean HIS w/l is n e less meaningful.....his ROOKIE year he was winning SPITE giving his d giving up 30+ points a game (2nd worse d in the WHOLE nfl)....

he lost his two starting wideouts and a rb that had one of the best years at rb the titans have had in years...VY and 4 players on the o line were the ONLY i repeat ONLY returning starters from VYs rookie campaign.....VY regressed in TD/INT ratio but PROGRESSED in comp perct...

can anyone name a QB that put up GREAT numbers with not having a legit 1 or even a legit "2" wideout on the same field as him....people expect VY to do it all...and in the nfl thats just not going to happen.....give him a legit deep threat and a solid hands WR and he WILL be better then he was his rookie year...(when the only decent wideout he had was drew bennett)...this is the main reason why even if VY doesnt put up great numbers this year i will still be backing him...titans GM didnt do shit to fill our biggest need...and were expecting workout warriors from small schools that we drafted in later rounds (because i guess thats the only kind of WR fisher likes to draft) to become diamonds in the rough

i give the titans d lots of credit...but VY is an amazing talent that gets bashed because his offense is so bad.....when put any qb in that postion and they are going to FAIL too...i dont care WHO it is

OAKLAND RAIDERS TRAINING CAMP ONE-LINERS
Posted by Mike Florio on August 5, 2008, 8:15 p.m. UTC

Raiders coach Lane Kiffin insisted that Monday’s session with the 49ers be set up as a practice, not a scrimmage.

CB Nnamdi Asomugha was excused from practice due to a little nnamdi in the asomugha.

DT Gerard Warren returned to action after missing several days due to injury.

Coach Lane Kiffin is still concerned about WR Javon Walker’s commitment to the team. (Lane, just spray a little champagne on him. That’ll perk him up.)

One of Walker’s teammates is surprised Walker hasn’t been able to stand out in comparison to the other receivers on the roster. (Maybe Walker is hoping to underachieve for two seasons and then be traded to New England.)

Would the Raiders be better off if they’d taken Walker up on his offer to pay back $11 million and walk away?

OT Kwame Harris isn’t pissed at the team that gave up on him.

RB Darren McFadden failed to pick up a blitzing linebacker during the joint practice with the 49ers.

The injured elbow of QB JaMarcus Russell is very close to 100 percent.

The team is still looking for a goal-line back.

In one year, QB Andrew Walter has vaulted from No. 4 on the depth chart to No. 2.

alot of sports media thinks the raiders will be the sleeper.

no ones going out on a limb and predicting playoffs just yet but defensively we should shut shit down and offensively we could go either way. its gonna be interesting. im gonna say if russell and the rest of the team can stay healthy and intact for the most part, 10-6 wild card. i know its kinda bold, but man, i like what im hearing and seeing, minus bi-polar ass walker. we will definately bring this thread back up throughout the year im sure. curry will have a career year, dont say i didnt tell you a couple months back before the talk about him being faster and stronger. the closer to september 8 we get, the more i see good things happening. fuck it, typical raider fan. just win baby!

I think we can get in the playoffs within the next couple years

as long as Russell is what we hope he'll be
I think alot of that mainly depends on if we can have a consistant coaching staff for more than 2 years. I really like most of the coaches we have now but Im not confident they will be around if the team doesn't finish above .500 this year.

Agreed 100%! I like that 10-6 prediction... I'll go with 11-5!

Take back the 11 mill sign Nmandi long term let Curry be #1 option and let the other WR's fight it out and by next year we should have a solid core of young WR's as this year its going to mostly run and play action pass to Miller with the every so often bomb down the field to keep the Dfense off balance.
